Hi i bought these knives for in December and whilst using them (to cut vegetables) the blade in one has snapped. Please advise how i get a replacement

The same thing happened to a set i bought. I sent amazon a photograph of the damaged knife and the refunded me my money. To be totally honest, for James Martin to put his name on these poor quality knives is pretty poor.

What does ‘lifetime guarantee’ mean exactly? I bought these knives just under 3 years ago and the handle has just snapped on the smallest one.

It means absolutely nothing but since the manufacturer is giving you the warranty you should get in touch and asked for a replacement. I had a similar problem with my prestige pressure cooker under lifetime guarantee.They tried to wriggle out of it but l won. You don’t lose anything if you try, be firm. They should honour their word. Good luck

Why have the handles on my James Martin set of three knives gone sticky

Hi, We have used our knives quite a lot and have had no problems with the set of 3.The handles have a rubberised covering,to give you better grip,I think. They are not sticky, just a good gripping handle. We don't have a dishwasher but if you have, it may affect thecovering on the handles. Hope this has helped.
