I recently got a new to me 2012 Toyota Camry SE that had a broken retaining tab on the remote and allowed the spare key to fall out. Really annoying!!!! But when I found this, I snapped it up and got it a few days later. It easily fit around the electronics of my factory fob and made that problem ancient history. Installation was simple - just snap the seal of the factory fob and peel off the circuit board and put that in the new casing and re-snap. Looks just like the factory fob except for the factory logo and works great!If you have a Toyota fob that has the same issue, this is perfect to solve that! It looks and works just like the original. So far, it has been holding up great over the last couple of months and I expect it to go for the life I have with this car, however long that is!

My toyota key fob broke at the keyring attachment point. This well-made item allowed me to move the electronic guts of my fob over to this case. It has served me well for months since. It seemed to be a good clone of similar quality to the original item. I am happy I didn't have to pay the inordinate costs of buying an OEM fob and getting it programmed.

Bought this as a replacement for the OEM fob because the key part kept slipping out. This was a drop-in (clip around?) replacement and worked great. Amazon says this does not fit a 2013 Toyota RAV4 keyless entry key fob but it’s a perfect fit replacement.

This is not a replacement remote- this review is for the plastic shell to house the innards of a remote who’s buttons have become inoperable or perhaps the remote was cropped and prior planting housing broke. The description was clear for this product and at this price point, how some could be disappointed that they thought they were getting a full replacement remote just doesn’t make sense.The product arrived well packaged and next day. Easy to open, easy to inset the chip/board and new battery. I chose to use my existing Toyota backside of the housing because it was in good condition and it fit perfectly.Once closed I tested and it worked perfectly. I’ve had it for a few weeks and am please and the product does everything I hoped it could, therefore, 5 stars.

Just bought a used car, the key fob I received was completely destroyed (as seen in the picture). Amazon to the rescue, I bought this replacement *used* for $12 and some change. Awesome! Soooo much nicer looking. I’m happy. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 would be the fact that the plastic seems like it won’t last long. But for now, it works well and gets the job done.
