Great value for the money and with the Detroit axle name this one was hard to pass up. Mine were installed on a 2005 Toyota Camry.

THERE ARE DIFFERENT KINDS OF STRUT WITHIN THE SAME MODEL YEAR FOR TOYOTA AVALONS. I assume these are for cars manufactured "to 01/05", not "from 01/05". My Avalon was manufactured 06/05. This is why they didn't fit my car. They changed the strut style, despite technically being in the same model year. This is not the only parts company to make this error, but there's nothing from amazon or Detroit Axle that indicates that you need to check this. Just to be clear, I have entered my VIN into different websites, and my car is definitely a 2005 TYT Avalon according to the VIN.If you run into this problem, you'll find that the replacement strut mount is at an angle relative to the strut tower, where your original is more or less perpendicular to the strut tower.It is my own fault that I did not receive a refund, as I had to go help my brother for a few weeks after I initiated the return process. His wife was due, and I was supposed to take care of their daughter while they were in the hospital. She didn't have the baby for 3 more weeks after I got there! Needless to say, I was focused on my niece, not getting my struts returned. When I came back home, I had passed the return window.I don't blame them for me not getting a refund, that's on me. I do blame them for selling me parts that didn't fit, without any indication that there are differences within the same model year. Other parts sites (ie. rockauto) seemed to know and indicated to/from 01/05 on the strut assemblies sold there. Shame on amazon as well I suppose for directing me to parts that wouldn't fit.

Very Poor Quality Control
They labeled the boxes with the correct part number...still managed to send me two left struts. As luck would have it, I had just completed the teardown of the right side only to realize their 2 left struts were useless to me. Thanks Detroit Axle.
