Pink tactical vest, pink everything; obviously marketed for younger girls who like Nerf.
The tactical vest included in this kit is an upgraded version of one of the older official Nerf tactical vests available online, but it is not as advanced as their other vests that have magazine storage on the back of the vest (this vest has nothing on the back). This new design has a pink digital camouflage pattern that covers the area around the shoulders and upper back, looking more stylish compared to other vests that are typically plain black. This camouflage will allow you to hide yourself amongst flamingoes, totally undetected by the enemy. The new design features a 3-strap Velcro life-counter on the upper left side of the vest (first seen on the official Nerf Rival line vests for use in life-stock game modes), buckles on the front straps, and employs more use of plastic for the side Velcro straps. It mimics the original vest very well without using the Nerf logo or thick mesh material, but this cost-cutting measure is actually preferred because the netting is more breathable. Included in this package deal are an astounding 80 purple darts with pink tips, a pink 6-dart magazine that works and is compatible with Nerf blasters that use magazines, a pink mask (a baclava with colorful decor), a 3-inch wristlet (aka “wrister”; 7 inches from end to end) that is somehow capable of carrying 8 darts via pink elastic bands that hug the dart firmly, and pink eyewear that is of the typical cheap grade of plastic that distorts your vision due to the excessively cheap plastic that is blurry and easily scratched. I do not believe it is because of the pink coloration, as all the cheap eyewear perform similarly, but it will still protect your eyes from Nerf darts. The vest is able to carry 10 individual darts (x5 on the upper right and x5 mounted horizontally in between the buckle straps in the middle of the front of the vest) and a 6-12 dart magazine via 2 pink elastic straps (as opposed to 1 strap found on most older model vests), not to mention the net pocket area on the bottom left side that you can carry whatever you want that can fit in it. Most aftermarket magazines that come with vest kits are completely useless orange opaque knockoff magazines that all claim compatibility with Nerf magazines but never seems to work like one (the darts get stuck in those and do not advance), but this particular transparent pink knockoff magazine seems to be an exception because mine actually works quite well. The tube mask is a balaclava type that can be worn in many different ways (it displays the different ways on the packaging, but the white print is hard to see with the colorful decor in the background). In conclusion, this kit has pink everything; The demographic is clearly for young female “Nerfers,” which I think adds more dimension to the world of flinging foam. The large amount of darts included in this kit is a plus, most pieces included in this kit work well, except the cheap eyewear, but that can be overlooked (no pun intended). The tiny wrister wristlet thing may be a bit small and the elastic is on the tight side, but ultimately it does what it was designed to do because the target demographic is little girls with small wrists. So in all, I think the pros of this kit definitely outweigh the cons. This kit would make a good gift to give to younger girls who like Nerf wars (just as the blue vest kit with the grotesque Zombie mask decor also sold by Hely Cancy is marketed for younger boys); It undercuts the official products in price and provides similar performance. So what is there not to love?

Granddaughter loved this!
Okay, it's fair quality but for a six year old, it was enough, didn't break and kept up with her brother. For the price, it had the whole package, vest, scarf, goggles, ammo and gun. She had so much fun and shooting the gun was pretty easy for her.

My daughters love this. It does fit a little big, but other than that it’s good. The nerf gun definitely packs a punch.

Great all in one set!
I purchased this set for my daughter who was turning 6 and she loved it. This comes with everything someone needs and the quality is good too. The bullets are well made and don't fall apart easily. The jacket fits a variety of sized individuals, glasses are a great safety addition and the gun works well too.

My kids love these!!
My kids love these!! My 5 & 7 year old always play with this. The best is kinda difficult to put on and so it doesn’t get much use but other wise I highly recommend. I would say 5 years old & up. My 3 year old likes to play with it but she’s always biting the bullets tops off & ruining them so I would keep up away from younger ones.

Awesome gear, awesome price!
My daughter (and the boys she plays Nerf wars with in our neighborhood), think this gear is great! It holds a lot of ammo, and looks good too. She isn't wearing the bandana thing that came with it, but it's a continuous loop, so she can use it on her face or in her hair. It's cute pink and purple camo. I recommend this for any Nerf shooter. For reference, my daughter is 7 years old, but she's petite for her age. There is plenty of room for her to grow into this vest, and I think it would fit most kids just fine, with a bit of room to grow.
