DMX Pinspot Mirror Ball Spotlight - 3w White Stage Spot Lights for Disco Ball Motor

Great item for money

I used this with a mirror ball at a recent 80s themed disco. It worked well once I'd got it close enough to the ball but unfortunately due to limitations at the venue, that was tricky to achieve. You really need to have this light positioned within about 3 meters of the ball, or the beam is simply to wide and dim to reflect properly. That limits positioning options, especially if you're limited on power socket locations like I was. But once it's dialled in, it works well. So some forward planning is required. For other applications where you just want a white spot of light, you may have less trouble, but don't expect the spot to be particularly small, or bright beyond about 5 meters, especially if your room isn't completely dark. The unit it's self is compact and light and has an adequate bracket. However, because it's light and the bracket is small, it's not suitable to be stood on it's own. It will need attaching to something to prevent it falling over. The power cable is only about 1M long and on mine the plug came with a 13A fuse fitted, which is unnecessarily high for something rated at 3A. I swapped this for a 5A fuse. Overall, for the price (£15), I'm happy enough with the results I got.

Well made good price great for puppet show spot lite

This is a great powerful spotlight that travels far. Using for a mirror ball. Can arch the light on the stand to a suited position. No complaints and well packaged. A remote control would have been perfect for it!

Perfect spotlight for my darts. The bracket however is meant for a nut & bolt but it's not an issue if you're handy.

Light comes with non EU socket and was not functioning. Very cheap stuff inside, don’t recommend
