Haw Flakes 3.18 Oz / 90 G (Pack of 3)

I love Haw Flakes. I was curious and these were great. I may get them again.

Not too sweet and great flavor! They do tend to stick together but I don’t really mind that, my local Asian market do not have them in stock right now. I love them.

I like the fact that I was able to find something I haven't had in years and it still tasted the same as I remembered it! There is still a little stuck together but as expected for something that is packaged in the way that it is. It brought back some very good memories, thank you for all that! It's still very fresh very tasty as I really remember these really brought back some very good fond memories of my late husband!

I was so excited to order these and have them here the next day! Then I opened my box and were surprised at the small package and even more surprised at the size and quality of the product inside. They were old, stuck together, flavorless, and scared me when I opened the second roll. They look like they started to disintegrate. Glad I only spent $4 on this so I won’t feel so bad about tossing them in the trash. Not worth the gas to go do a return on them. Shame on you!!!

I have bought these many times from various stores and honestly these aren't very consistent in terms of quality. I have purchased many packs over the years and those have varied in freshness, how well they are packed, etc.The pack I got did not taste stale but the cylinders were a bit more dense/smaller than they are on average. They tasted basically as I would expect although they weren't anything special.In general though, I would recommend going to a store if you can to purchase these as these are a bit overpriced on amazon.

I LOVE these haw flakes. They made my childhood. We took many a trip to the Asian market growing up and picked these up while we were there. Currently the closest Asian market to where I live is pretty far away.When I rediscovered these Hay Flakes as an adult I got so excited and immediately looked them up on Amazon to purchase.Here's what I found. Pictures included:Original Haw flakes-- found in an Oriental Store or Asian Market are tiny slightly sweet and wafers and have a surprisingly good texture to it.For those who've never experienced these, don't knock it until you try it.This knock off is not the same. It's a semi-okay attempt but I would much rather drive [2 1/2 hours] to get the good stuff.They are stale, much darker than the original, and have a different taste-- not the same as the original. They are pretty crumbly too. Now, I can get on board with it being darker-- when I was younger and we ate these, sometimes they would be a little darker, but it didn't taste like this. I thought it was it interesting too that the outer label was almost exactly the same, but not completely. These knock offs didn't cut it for me. Oh yeah, and there is NO sell by date on this. So there's know way of knowing how old these things are or how long their shelf life is.I was very hopeful and very excited for Amazon to have carried these. I purchased the larger pack because I was so excited. But, like I said, I plan to go to the oriental store to get the real thing even though I might have to wait a few months before I can go visit family to get them.Pictures attached are comparing the two:The top are the sad, stale wafers and the bottom are the über tasty, delicious wafers from the Asian Market.Update: I did find the best by date. Good for 4 more years...Also, I opened the second pack to see if the first was maybe just a dud. The second pack was better but still not quite the quality of the Asian market.I am moving to a 3 star but still don't LOVE It.

I've always loved fruit snacks, and when I decided to try these for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised. The candy is a dried, disk-shaped fruit snack. Whenever I break off a disk to eat I always end up craving more until the pack is gone.
