Well built. Put under a bench built for my planer and jointer. Had been using other wheels rated for 150 lbs each. Total weight of bench about 400 lbs. The other wheels did not hold up. These wheels are much better built and are the quality and level I should have started with. Just buy these and be done. The little extra expense you get twice the quality and capability. Was also very pleased with the wheel locking mechanism. It has its own release that you can easily use with your feet. The other wheels I had to get on the floor to release the locks. Will definitely be buying more of these!

I used these on a homemade brew stand (beer brewing). Casters seem pretty heavy duty and roll well on concrete. They struggle a little over rough surfaces, but so would any 3” caster. If you plan to use on rough surfaces with cracks/gaps, I’d recommend going with a larger diameter caster (e.g. 4” or larger) but these are great casters for smooth surfaces. The brakes also hold really well.

Very nice, smooth, strong, easy to use. I've bought quite a few sets for a dolly, a water tank cart, multiple pieces of shop furniture, etc. Anything I need casters for, I use these, even if it's overkill.

Wheels work for clean surfaces but not for construction sites. Its on a jobsite box. Love the brakes but don't like the wheels themselves. The material it's made out of picks up every little thing. It's not scratch resistant as far as the wheels go.

These castors are great. I put them on my mitre saw bench. Rolls smoothly and the wheel locks are so convenient..no being down. Can't miss with these!

Our kids' rollout bed has a bad set of casters wheels set and needed replacement. This replacement set is great but we needed to be creative in using it. First, this set is much bigger than the standard low profile that came with the trundle set because of the locking mechanism as well as the larger size frame to house its double ball bearing seal. The drawbacks are as follow: 1) Due to the limited size of our trundle bottom frame, we could not take advantage of the 360 swivel of the wheel but only about 30% rotation but that's adequate for our need for the rolling in and out of the trundle. 2) This wheel set is really quiet and well made. The locking mechanism is amazing because our wooden floor is not level due to our old foundation so this wheel locking mechanism helps prevent the trundle bed from moving itself out of place. 3) The height of this set is about 1/2" taller than the standard trundle casters so the top of the trundle mattress has barely enough space to roll-in the frame of the trundle. The bottom line is this set is perfect fit for our need as a replacemet caster set for our rollout bed because all we need is rolling in and out AND we needed a wheel locking mechanism because our standard trundle wheels set has no wheel locking capability. If you want to use this set for your rollout bed, you better have extra drill bit to drill another set of hole to install this casters wheels set. Furthermore, it does not come with any screws so you need to order a set of large wood screws because the screws for the standard rollout bed is too small for this casters set. If you have the right tool and the right screws, then this caster set is a nice replacement for your rollout bed, especially if your house has a bad foundation like ours.

I don't usually write reviews but these caster are incredible - dual ball bearings for the caster pivot AND wheels! I bought some casters from a hardware chain store that rhymes with 'foam repo' for 3x the price of these at first and when I installed them, they wouldn't swivel - kind of the point of a caster right? Then the ball bearings fell out...as you can see in the comparison pic. Needless to say I returned them and ordered these beauties! Per my video they "caster" very smoothly even under the weight of my cnc machine! The brake works much better than the other version I bought (gray wheels). These will last far longer than the single bearing designs you can find. The polyurethane wheels feel pretty stout but could be torn up by very rough concrete. On smooth concrete however they make zero sound as you push it around, just smooth rolling. Shipping was insane fast and you can tell the company cares because they included a greeting card in the box, I love when sellers do this! Anyway - my dissatisfaction with the hardware store prompted me to write this - hopefully I can save somone the same headache I had with poor quality casters!
