Very happy with this book, it is filled with much information and beautiful illustrations of costumes of the tribes. Review: Not a belly dance costume book - I just wanted to correct what another reviewer led me to believe. This is not a belly dance costume book. I have not read it all the way through but I have not seen a single dance costume yet. It is very interesting, but I would call it just what the title says - The Art of Arabian Costume.

Good information and photos. Has diagrams of garments' basic construction as well as fabrics and uses. Gives types used and differences for the various regions.
