This review is for the Tencoz Blow Torch, Professional Kitchen Cooking Torch with Lock Adjustable Flame.This torch has just arrived.At this time I must wonder what some people are doing that they're having so much trouble with this item.It took about 3 seconds to fill the torch with propane. No muss no fuss and no spills. So what is all of the negative reviews about how hard this torch is to fill all about?Once filled with propane the torch lit on the first try. Again, what's the bad reviews about the torch not lighting all about?This torch is not an expensive item, but the torch does have a solid feel to it and, the torch appears as if it is well made.The flame adjustments are very responsive.How long will this torch last, well, only time will tell, but I suspect that the way I use such a tool, the torch will last for many years.My take on the negative reviews is...some peoples kids.An updated review will follow, if the torch fails in short order.Good luck.

My teenage son is homeschooled and one part of that is home economics. I bought this cooking torch so we could do more with our cooking and baking. What appealed to me is the lock safety feature and the finger guard that protects you from burns. What's also nice is that you can have a continuous flame by switching over the lock. We tried it out by roasting marshmallows for smores and can't wait to try more!

I ordered this torch specifically to make crème brûlée, and it did the job just fine! I do wish it had a bit more power and was slightly larger, but overall, it’s a great tool for the kitchen and worked perfectly for what I needed.

Does not work. The flame shoots out, almost seems like it is going to explode. The light efficiency is all over the place and not stable. And filling it is hard, since there's no window to see where the butane is. I needed it for catering and it made me have to go buy another one last minute. 0/10 would not recommend
