They are finally back!
I have been using Wigwam for 3+ decades. The sporting goods stores don't carry this model anymore. Always loved these ragg wool socks, and very happy to see them again. Thank you Wigwam.

Great socks - last forever - not over done with stretch fibers.
Socks are made great - and don’t rely on a mass of stretch fibers to fit properly. Extremely comfortable and really keep your feet warm on those very cold days/nights.

Great Socks! Best than others so far!
When I found these socks I first of all was happy there is a pair of wool socks for under $15. But to be carful I first ordered one pair of black pepper grey color to test before buying more.I use these socks at home only. I need to warm my feet after I began having poor circulation and neuralgia issues with feet after surviving "big C" illness. So my criteria for a sock weren't to get a sock that performs in a boot in cold weather, but only to warm myself at home. The Wigwam brand turned out to have the best qualities of all socks I tried. When you get them new they are slightly shrunk. When you put them , they will initially cause irritation against the foot skin but this goes away in a day. Most importantly the sock formly applies itself to entire foot, it is elastic enough to constantly have soft pressure on the around the surface area. It is the feature I always look for because when a sock slides against the soles of the feet it can cause sensation of coldness or tickling if your have neuropathy. These socks unlike other popular brands feel as if they have more wool as they are more "prickly". To me this is a good thing, although if you want something in between cotton and wool you may need another brand. Well this one is much better when absorbing moisture if you ever had sweaty feet. I don't think it is an intended feature of the sock, just a property of high wool contentAfterward I ordered the beige color a e dark green and they are all of equal qualityAsk if you have any additional questions.

BEST OLD SCHOOL RAG WOOL SOCKS
Best features:Heavy rag wool cushions well, and the cuff part stays up with virtually no circumferential squeeze so they are comfy and don’t cut off circulation.Wear a pair in bed at night to keep your feet nice and warm. You will love these socks.MADE IN USA by Wigwam. Still made like they were in the 1970s. Excellent.Size:When in doubt, go one size bigger with these. Because the knit is bulky, and they tend to shrink a bit. Also:You can McGuyver” a pair into sock slippers by using a half inch stencil brush to apply Permatex (blue) gasket compound gripper spots on the soles.Remember:When laundering, turn inside out to prevent pilling AND line dry to prevent shrinking. If you do shrink them, just rewash, then hand stretch the foot part, and line dry. I dry them by hanging em over a plastic hanger.
