Can’t believe I bought this for £180 before the prices went mad!
Needing an upgrade from an much older 2gb card due to now playing some games, this was a Top purchase for a bargain price. Runs every game at max settings for 1080p and medium settings for 1440p. Since the launch of newer 3070 cards etc at such an affordable price compared to the older 2070ti etc it seems the 2nd hand graphics card has gone insane and this card is regularly on EBay for £400+ 😬. Yes this card is power hungry, yes it will run very hot in a poorly cooled tower, and yes it’s a maxed out older card, but for £180 before the crazy prices this was an absolute BARGAIN and if I could buy another for the same price for a Plex rig I would! My specs areAsus A320 pro motherboardAMD Ryzen 5 1600af cpu8gb Corsair vengeance 3200mhz Ram x2 (16gb)Dual Samsung 250gb SSD’s (one for OS and programmes other regular files)Seagate 1tb HDD (plain old storage)RX590 8gb fatboy (factory standard)1000w modular psuBlazer storm 7fan tower (was 6 but I had a spare fan)Card runs sweet at circa 63 degrees when gaming and a lot less when idle.Good card to buy for 1080p gaming and image editing below 4K IF YOU CAN BUY THIS CARD AGAIN for less than £200 😂

Brilliant card for the price
This graphics card running with my i5 7500 was absolutely amazing.Would get pritty much over 60 fps on ultra bearing in mind my cpuEasy over clock with the softwareRan a bit hot sometimes so had to customise the rpm on the fans but after that no temp issue at allThe box is a lovely design despite amazon slapping a sticker on it (removable if you use a hair dryer to melt the glue and then peel it off) but bit disappointed with the box it came with just standard cardboard with a XFX logo on it despite that useless issue the card is brilliant.(Warning) After using this card for 7 months i can say it has crashed hundreds of times due to over heating do not buy this card if your cooling system on your pc is not capable to deal with this card.

Hot card but runs well
I use this card with my 3600x and it performs well. I think the best thing about the card is that it has 8gb VRAM, very very nice to have. But yes, the card itself performs decently well. I do not play new triple A games but the games I do play, such as Overwatch, Satisfactory, Jump Force and some others, I can run all on ultra at consistently above 60fps. It is not a god card so if you push some settings too high, like render scale, you will see performance drops. I run Overwatch at all max settings, everything at highest, except render scale. It is far too taxing and I can only do it at 150% instead of 200% because it halves my framerate. I haven't had good experience overclocking so I have left that. However, there in lies the issue with such a powerful card. The XFX cooler is less than ideal. The card runs extremely hot, as in for me, pretty much always above 80+. My case has decent air flow albeit not the best so you may perform better but it is generally true as a whole, if you do research you'll see, the XFX 590 runs hotter than most, if not all, variations of the card. I have heard it is one of t he loudest cards on the market too but this Icannot confirm. It's dual fans spin well. Know that it is a heavy card too so it's sag for me was a considerable amount to where i actaully support it up with a piece of card. It also takes 3 pcie slot things on your case because of how THICK the card is. the cooler is huge but shockingly not that well. Warranty on the card is very very unclear. I have no idea how it works.

Good but needs tweaking!
The card itself gives good performance, but runs VERY hot under maximum load, 84 degrees with the default fan curve. After changing the curve to a more aggressive manual one the card now runs at 75 degrees under maximum load. I have also had to remove my side panel to increase air flow as the heat from this card was initially causing the CPU to heat up excessively when gaming. It is now, however, possible to up the power % further to increase performance, but be aware before you buy if you're not familiar with fan and overclock/underclock settings.Just for a reference to people, with 16gb ram and a Ryzen 3600:Deus Ex Mankind Divided 70 fps average on highGTA 5 81 fps average on very highMonster Hunter World 72 fps average on HDR high

Good value, need tuning.
This card comes with overclock that is useless, as the card overheats a lot and makes the system crash every time you play, I had to underclock it to make it more reliable when playing, and also change the fan curves, so is not a silent card, is very noisy. Apart of this is very good value, cheap and it's performance is really good, just need more fan RPM and bit of underclock. You can play most games is high quality with no problems.

Died next day
Read some RX 590 reviews and XFX was on the top of their lists, so I gave it a go.Card was delivered very promptly. Installation process was very easy. Had to find additional PCI 8 pin cable as the card is very hungry on power. PC recognised the card with no issue as I already have an AMD GPU and tried some games.Everything was fine but not on RDR2. Game was OK until I tried to close. Whole PC was restarting after that. Strange. I red some reviews that it may be a bug in RDR2 so didn't suspect anything wrong with the card itself. Second game: Euro Truck Simulator 2. No problems there.Next day was the ONE. In Windows there was no issue. As soon as I started ANY game, I heard some high pitch noise coming from the PC and the game froze. ALT+TAB to windows and no noise. Back to the game and noise came back and and the game froze. Removed the card and installed again to rule out wrong installation. Double checked all additional PCIe power cables. No issues there. Problem still exists.Very disappointing. Packed the same day and returned it.Here I must thank you for Amazon support for a quick return arrangement and refund. GPU was sent back on Sunday and the money were returned next day. Five star customer support.Unfortunately I am worry to buy another RX 590 and went to the opposite team and waiting for 1660Ti :)
