I always reach for this when removing bowls ftom the microwave

Have always had these in our kitchen and always in use. They are great. But I am just getting this red one to make mine a pair of the same color, because it has always bothered me that I always had only one of each color, one in red and one in teal. So this makes it a perfect red color pair now, next to my black pair from Le Creuset which I also highly recommended whether you have any Le Creuset cookware or now.

I had a set of two and lost them at a pitch-in. I went back to the store where I had bought them probably 10 year earlier, but they no longer carried them. I found them here and ordered. They are the exact ones that I had and I love them! They are the right size for your thumb and a couple fingers. I am short and my microwave is above the stove so they are perfect for getting things out of the microwave because they grip tight.

I had one of their earlier versions of this and it was great; however, the new one isn't workable it's too small for your hands to use. the other one had a lot of room for your fingers to be protected and have enough grip.

I have been using this item for many years to grab one coffee filter from the stack. I was worried cuz mine was looking a bit shabby, but this is exactly what I’ve been using. Sounds trivial, but coffee filters can drive me nuts.

Works well with recipes that tend to overflow the cookware...this way I dont have fabric potholders "denting" my baked goods or getting dirty. These also clean easy!

I have tried to use these with a few things and they are awkward for picking up everything I have tried to use them with. Because of their size, it is hard to get a good grip on anything. I should have returned them because not sure they will ever be useful for anything.
