Lesser & Pavey LP42239 New Sweet Home Compost, Metal, Grey, 21 x 19 x 20 cm

I absolutely love these tins! I bought the entire line of Lesser & Pavey tins for our kitchen: bread, coffee, tea, sugar, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, dishwasher tabs, dog food, biscuits, and this compost tin. I’m so incredibly happy with them and can’t recommend them enough!The compost tin came with extra charcoal filters and so far it’s performed incredibly well! We cook a lot and are mostly plant-based, so we tend to fill it every two to three days and just bring out the green compostable bag to our compost bin. It hasn’t smelled yet!

I purchased this item to replace the same model some six years ago. I liked the design so I found the same produce to replace it. I would recommend this it is reasonably priced and looks good on my worktop.

Over the moon with this , I was so fed up with the smell from my old one as my dog is on a fish diet any waste made my kitchen smell awful , this is absolutely brilliant , no more smells!!the filter takes all the smells away , you also get 3 spare filters which i was really happy with , I also love the look of this compost bin , sits lovely on my work surface. I'm actually now enjoying binning my food waste , one very happy customer !

Really like this bin, was sent cream colour, not grey as ordered but ok with that.Nice snug fitting lid prevents nasty odours, spare filters sent also.Pleased with my purchase.

Have had this a while . It does the job and looks good. Easy to clean, although getting a little stained now, I have left soaking and this certainly helps. The handle fell of a couple of times as you can remove , but that's not a issue. Overall very happy. I've also cleaned the filter in hot soapy water and you can use one over and over again. I would recommend this product.

Love this compost bin, much better than a previous one I had. Can't understand people wanting to put it in the dishwasher to clean, as it rinses out easily. I empty mine at the end of each day, so never have a problem. You also get 3 filters with it, which really stops flies from hovering around. I would recommend this product.

Do not recommend this product. Live in a top floor flat and one advantage is that seldom get any flies up this far. However, since I bought this bin I have been bothered by small flies attracted by the smell of food waste even although I clean it out every couple of days, wash thoroughly and put in a fresh bin liner. They can obviously detect food smells despite the filter. Not happy and will replace with something with a tight sealed lid.

Perfect solution for my food recycling needs ! Always struggled to get other members of the family to use a food bin - This one has worked ! Neat , smart looking , fits nicely on the countertop and gets used every day ! Very easy to keep clean and looks great, The filter eliminates odours escaping and I can honestly say , we now use this for all food waste - thanks for a great solution !!
