Lavender Classic
I’ve had a love affair with lavender going on for an awful lot of years now. My official “signature” perfume is Opium by Yves St Laurent. I’m sure you know it; in my opinion it’s more of a classic than Chanel No 5. And better smelling too. I’ve worn Opium since it came out in 1979 and I’ll never stop. HOWEVER there are times when something else can be called for. In summer for instance. When the heat goes over 85 degrees, it’s time for a perfume that’s lighter, fresher, floral with a hint of herbal. Lavender hits the spot. It’s somewhat sweet with a little green crispness. Although it’s considered feminine, in days gone by, lavender was also a man’s scent. It’s perfect as a work perfume for this reason. So, Woods of Windsor. I discovered by accident because a good friend owned a perfume and body products store. I owned the lavender scent by the major competitor but found the WofW scent was different and very appealing. Not necessarily better, just different enough to be enjoyable. I love the cologne but here the hand and body lotion is so good. Very rich but all of a sudden it’s absorbed into the skin. Really good in all the ways you want.

While the hand cream works well as a mosturiser, it's not greasy and does not leave hands feeling oily or slippery. It's effective for dry skin all over the body and not limited to the hands. The lavender scent is heavenly but not overpowering or offensive to people with sensitive senses of smell.
