Absolutely perfect replacement. Original American Standard. Took a while to get here but worth the wait. All hardware included.

Matched and fit perfectly. Love the soft close feature. A little pricey for the thickness, but I’m just happy it matched our older American Standard basement toilet which is no longer a popular color.

The plastic bolts weren’t included with the toilet seat.

I bought this because of all the positive reviews, but it looks and feels cheap. It doesn’t feel sturdy, slips so much I’ve had to tighten screws several times in the past few weeks, and comes with cheap plastic nuts and screws. I don’t think I’ll bother going to the hardware store and replacing the hardware, this whole thing is going in the trash.

I’m not sure why there are other negative reviews, I ordered this slow close toilet seat in the color Bone, and it works perfectly! I hate when toilets slam closed, so this was a necessary swap as I just moved into a new home. Easy installation, and exactly what I needed. Color match is perfect.

It came without the screws to install. Product Customer service sent me a new screw kit after a few emails. Installed seat and when I closed the hinge covers as the very last step, they both broke off. I suppose I will just glue them in place, coming this far I don't want to start over with a new seat! Might want to pay a little more and get a commode seat with better quality

This is a perfect replacement for our 25 yr old American Standard one piece toilet. If your not sure of your color lift off the tank lid and its inside. This is our first slow closing seat and we like this feature. I had no problem installing it and its very secure. I don't understand why some other reviewers had issues with the screws supplied. I've been buying American Standard products all my life and never had an issue. Great purchase!

When the plumber installed the toilet, the seat was either *not* an American Standard seat--i.e. a knockoff!--or it was badly fitted. After only 2 years, the original seat was no longer working properly! I was worried about ordering this online: what if it arrived broken or chipped?! Ended up worrying for nothing! My husband thought it would take *hours* to install; he said it was easy to install. (Better him than me; I've never installed a toilet seat before!) The seat is a perfect match to our existing toilet and the slow-close feature also works beautifully and doesn't take forever to close! If you need a new toilet seat, do not hesitate to buy this! My husband thought the price was "too cheap" to be the real thing; it definitely *is* the genuine article!!

Excellent quality and easy to install

Bought this seat to replace original that came with Champion 1-piece toilet. “Bottom” line: once installed it is sturdy, fits well and slow-close works fine. The photos on Amazon show the easy twist and lift off hinges like on the original— but that is not what you get. This seat is solid plastic like original, but does not lift off easily, and the installation instructions are laughable. It’s your guess which one of 3 tiny installation diagrams applies. American Standard could surely provide clearer instructions - installation was easy once you spent way too much time trying to make sense of the diagrams.
