Serious let-down from Lag
I purchased a T66D as a beater guitar about 2 years ago and absolutely love it. My buddies with Taylors and Martins both really like it as well and my instructor who plays everything but his prize is a rare Tacoma Jumbo, is highly impressed enough to recommend it to his students. I reached the point that I don't even like playing my $700 Yamaha Acoustic electric so I sold it and played a ton of Martins which I loved, and a dozen Taylors but didn't find one that felt right. I decided I'd look at Lag's nicer models. After seeing and hearing one of their beautiful Arcane electrics, I sourced out a Tramontane T100DCE and T200 DCE. Both were fantastic and each was better than the last so I began researching the T300 and T400s but no one around has one or can get one. I took the plunge on Amazon and product delivered exactly on time and perfectly packaged. I was expecting the T300 to be equally improved over the other amazing Lag's I'd tried, but my immediate thought was a very cheap plastic appearance. My T66 at $280 is a far nicer looking guitar. Tuner was easy to use but I immediately notice horrible intonation on every string above the 5th fret, edges of the frets are rough and the sound is plastic vs my T66d. All other Lags I've tried (seven to be exact), have been perfectly setup right out of the box. This one had the neck all wonky and I noticed nothing in the quality control paper attached was checked off. May one slipped through the line, however I'm very sad to say I'm returning it and going to keep looking. Lag makes a few nice standard-range units but this higher end Stage Range guitar is a disappointment.

This is not the T300DCE
If this was actually a t300dce, I would give it 5 stars, as that guitar is awesome. I give this one star, however, because both the picture, description and price could not possibly be the Lag T300DCE. The Lag T300DCE is solid Spruce top with flamed Ovangkol back and sides, and carries a minimum advertised price of close to $800. If you look at the specs and picture on this ad, it is not the correct specs or guitar. Sorry folks- you are getting something else besides what is advertised.
