Muelhens 4711 Cologne for Unisex, 13.5 Fluid Ounce

I bought this because when watching the series on Netflix "Bolivar" the character would splash the cologne on which he had brought from Europe. This is the cologne Simon Bolivar wore. It has a refreshing fragrance, its like a light perfume or cologne with a pleasant fresh scent. I use it to refresh my bed sheets and as a room refresher but also great as a personal fragrance.

Excellent product. Smells great. It's not a toilet water (men's) or perfume (women's) so don't expect it to last for hours. Essentially cologne is a skin sanitizer with a bit of fragrance so I use it just like that, as an aftershave and deodorant. It doesn't overpower with scent, just gives you a clean, fresh feeling through the day.

Been using this product since a teenager. LOVE it.. Suttle scent.

Purchased some years ago, been looking for it ever since. Thrilled to locate it again. The scent is very distinct and more 'derived from nature' than other fragrances. You could probably call it "earthy". They seem to have changed the formula to increase the duration- to make it last longer- but I haven't noticed anything negative about this. Not like I care about this one way or the other- my only concern was the liquid inside- but the label could be done better. Maybe my mind is playing tricks on me, but the label I recall from years ago was a heavy paper stock with matte finish and the gold "medallions" were embossed. This label is cheaper, tackier. Looks like something you'd find in a truck stop convenience store, which is kind of unfortunate as this is a very classy product. It truly is gender neutral. A lot of colognes/scents are advertised as unisex, but almost always they trend towards one side or another... a bit too flowery and feminine, or a bit too leathery and manly. 4711 absolutely, positively is a neutral scent. Man or woman, it's fine (I'm a man, I wear it) Definitely don't buy this until you've smelled it first- the scent isn't for everyone- but if you already know what this is and like it, then nothing else will do. Love 4711.

I have known 4711 Cologne since I was a little kid many many years ago. It was always refreshing and brings a good feeling and good memories. It is a great cologne. Few things stand the test of time. The 4711 cologne definitely does.

I love 4711 Eau de Cologne, but this purchase at 13.5 fluid ounces seems a bit watered down. I noticed the seal was broken on my new purchase but did not think much about it until I realized the scent was not as strong. I still have some eau de cologne from my previous 10 fluid ounce bottle and it has a stronger scent and a more bracing sensation on the skin than the cologne my new 13.5 oz bottle. Perhaps this wasn't such a good deal after all.

4711 is a favorite brand, but the size I ordered was too large. It’s not easy to use.
