Orion Cobalt CO124S 12-inch Car Subwoofer with Single 4-ohm Voice Coil, 1400W Max Power

I replaced a mtx that I have in my home theater. And this is way better. It is connected to a 1000w suround sound system and in its own powered ported box with an extra 250w. Hits very low bass lines and has a fast response time, can hit lamb of God double bass like a champ. Don't let the price fool you, I bet it would beat my kickers in my car. In fact I think I'll get the hcca for my car next.

Bought these and so far so good have them paird with a planet audio 2600 watt amp and i must say they sound really nice in my 2005 chevy uplander would reccomend this product 100%

I'm a big Orion fan. This sub is rated at 200watts rms & a sensitivity of 87.2 which is pretty good. This subwoofer is good if you don't plan on having the loudest system, just a nice enjoyable system in your car that won't really bother anyone outside of the car. It has Great clear sound & hits pretty hard for only 200watts. I connected it in my girlfriends car with an Orion cobalt 600.2 & feeding it exactly what it deserves. I ran a knukoncept 4gauge kit throughout her car and for the budget it sounds amazing... I'm sure if you were to buy 2 of these you'll definitely be heard from a distance.

I have this sub in my buick century and it sounds great. It is not a "boomey" sub, you can hear alot more detail in the instruments. It also packs a good punch if you are looking for something to listen to rap/r&b music. My setup is the orion 12" with a pioneer 125w amp, a jvc stereo, and infinity kappa series rear speakers. I would recommend this setup, you can hear alot of detail and it sounds awesome.
