1922 by J.M Classic Gel, Strong Hold & Shine Styling Gel for Men, 5.1 Fl Oz

Great gel. Use almost every morning on my wet hair, style and dry. The hold is fantastic and lasts all day. I have curly hair and helps to keep my hair styled. It washes out easily and has a nice light fragrance. Even though it is meant for men I feel it works better then the woman gel. Although it is a bit pricey I feel it is worth the money.

Works as promised

this is a moderately stiff holding gel along the lines of 80's hair gel DEP and La-Looks. the finish has a slight gloss, and the scent isn't too floral more Vitalis-like. I would mix some of this with Kevin Murphy Knight Rider (paste) to thin it out a bit but not to sacrifice hold by using water. it feels a bit stiff and it takes a few run-throughs with your hands to break the hold. final impression. its not a standout and could be replaced by any number of current products. if you want predictable and something that evokes combs and barber shops, clubman... get a tube of this.

My husband likes it

It holds but it's nothing like Power Paste. It's a gel that glues hair into hard as fishbone strands. Just not as good as power paste, at all. Just buy some cheap gel at the big box store and get the same result although this has a better scent.

My only dislike is the packaging has now been changed to plastic. One of the reasons I started using this product was because the package was made out of metal. It was very easy to use by rolling it up. I prefer the old packaging.

Gel hold is far from the strength claimed. The Keune orange ultra forte gel was by far the best hold. Packaging is a complete fail. The tube material consistently squeezes out more than you need which makes it wasteful. Also, the material breaks down over time and can get stress cuts which makes the tube slice open and gel to be exposed. Better off buying the blend gel jar which has the same hold but at least the jar is a better option.
