Putting the puzzle together from both sides of the law
I have read Hotel K and Snowing in Bali. This is by far the best book i have read from Bonella. The main character here is Jorge who transcends between Europe and Brazil but there are some familiar characters out from the previous books as well. What made the difference here was that this book crosses international borders with no geographical restriction like the other 2 books. She goes into details of understanding how the drug dealers operate and what keeps them motivated. Of course, the law would eventually catch up with them. The story also describes how the head to narcotics uncovers an international syndicate with adrenaline filled details on how both sides felt at the same time leading to the arrest. It also explains how hard the police needs to fight in a very corrupt legal system where these drug lords could get away with short sentences. Bonella really got both sides of the story this time round which made this book so captivating.

I enjoy this authors books
I couldn’t put the book down as I had to see how the story finished. After reading KBs other books Hotel Kerobokan and Snow falling in Bali this book becomes familiar due to a few of the same characters.

Exciting can't put it down Brazillan drug smuggling, greedy drug city Amsterdam and innocent Bali!
Loved the fast pace of the writing and of course, the story! Learned about Floripa in Brazil and how the Dutch do everything for money, a perfect city for sexual addicts and drug aficionados. Feel for the Balinese who are no match for the heathen lifestyle of the drug dealers!

International drug dealers
This is a really good book about international drug dealing and how the money they make. Despite the risks they continued dealing because they had got used to the money and glamour. When it all falls down and they are locked up must have been a shock to them. Great detective work by police and dogged determination by all involved. A really good read about the highs and lows of the drug business.

Exciting Read
This is the third book I have read in Kathryn Bonella exciting and very interesting trilogy about drug trafficking. It's a page turner and at times hard to put down. Very easy to read yet informative and factual. At times I wasn't sure if the dealers would glide through airports unnoticed by customs and police or if they were heading straight for 10 year sentence.Katheryn does a great job setting up the reader for an unknown ride therefore I had a hard time putting this book down.I recommend this book to anyone at any reading level. You will not be disappointed.

Captivating!!
I fell in love with Kathryn Bonella's writing when I first read Snowing in Bali.Operation Playboy is another proof of her great talent. An amazing story which transports you right into the underworld, and it's just so fascinating learning how this underworld works. Must read!

A scarier side of travelling, just don’t do it!
A top read, cleverly written, the highs and lows of real life drug trafficking, and an insight from both sides, from the playboys to the police, scary thing is, this is a true story.
