TotLogic Natural Soothing Diaper Balm, 8 oz, No Phthalates, No Parabens

So far works great for dry skin, haven't really used it yet for a bum rash but seem like it would help soothe. I would use as a preventative, and maybe need something stronger or with zinx oxide for more severe rash. It is CD safe.

This is a really great diaper balm! My son is in cloth most of the time and he's a redhead with dairy sensitivities so his skin gets irritated very easily. I LOVE that this is safe to use on cloth diapers (I have washed his several times since I started using this and it leaves NO residue and NO staining!), and it is a natural diaper cream with NO sulfates, phthalates, parabens, or artificial colors or fragrances to irritate his sensitive skin! I also use this on him with his Pampers for overnight and this provides a great barrier that lasts all night so he doesn't wake up red in the morning.TotLogic's diaper balm comes in a large 8oz tub. You really only need a little bit at a time so this might actually last me until he's out of diapers - fingers crossed! :) It has a thick, creamy consistency which is zinc-free and the light scent doesn't stick to your fingers after you wash your hands like some other diaper creams do! This is also supposed to be a really good moisturizer, and living in Ohio with winter fast approaching, I am happy to have this on hand because my little guy's poor little cheeks got so red last year and I am really hoping this will help if it happens again! I have sensitive, reactive, allergic, rosacea skin. I ordered this product for both myself and my two year old granddaughter. While she doesn't have any of my DNA (stepson's daughter), she has especially sensitive skin. I've done aromatherapy the last six months. Have taken an online Butters & Balms course, so am interested in available products. I'm a little conflicted with the ingredients. There are some incredible natural ingredients (the oils and extracts) and some ingredients that I can't use on my face (Methylsulfonylmethane (Msm) and Hyaluronic Acid), a place where I can use a lot of soothing.Recently, I've been experimenting with products that are supposed to deal with skin issues. My skin has not reacted well to many of them. Not sure about the culprit for this one, but I think it's the soap that draws out impurities. I had switched to using natural deodorant with good success. Thought my armpits would be a good place for a soap like that. A few days later, I had some large, painful, red bumps under one arm. I used the soothing diaper balm twice a day and it's really helped a lot. The bumps are almost gone three days later. I will continue to try it on my body, as I have these kind of issues--which aren't infrequent. I opened it up and it looks like whipped mashed potatoes which is a little odd and didn't really smell like anything (it's unscented which is good); not pleasant or unpleasant. I decided to try it on myself first before trying it on my child. When the seasons change I get super bad dry skin on the tops of my hands that ends up itching, burning, and becoming scaly. As the weather has been cold the last week, my hands started to flare up. It only took TWO applications of this in one day to stop the itch and burning and start to heal my skin.I used it for my daughter the first time this week as well and after one overnight after the cream, the slight redness she had was gone. When my children were young, I constantly had to use diaper balm on them. I am so excited to finally see a diaper balm that is 99% natural and free of sulfates. In our society today, we want to use all natural products on our children. I am so glad there is a product like this on the market. This is wonderful for all the new mothers.

I love all the natural ingredients that Totlogic uses in their products - this one especially! Not only do I use it on my 3 month son, but it is also great for dry skin on my older children. I have one in the baby's room and another for the older children. Love it!
