Diamond point dressers can true a grinding wheel, where this particular brand appears to follow suit at a reasonable price. Some advice is to angle the diamond point at 15 degrees to the grinding wheel in case there is any wear on the diamond, and if it does, you can rotate the dressing tool and maintain the diamond point. I used it to true a 6-in aluminum oxide wheel with essentially no wear on the diamond. Remember to make gradual passes of only 0.01" or less. (The original condition of the diamond is not really a point, but rather a blunt point which is most likely correct, as shown in the product picture).

Didn't even last 3 seconds on the bench grinder. Don't waste your money.
