Good product if you want to learn more hvac

Excellent book on preventive maintenance. Tells you how to look after the equipment step by step. As he indicates in the section introductions, it is not a repair manual, but a preventive maintenance guide. There are lots of lists and instructions on keeping the equipment in good repair. There are ratings on how complex the steps are, from home owner, business owner, service Technician to certified HVAC company. Goes through residential air conditioning and furnaces, commercial HVAC, refrigeration, self contained commercial refrigeration, water towers and a good section on troubleshooting problems.

Good book but dated.

If the goal is to learn new repair, installation, improving and troubleshooting techniques, I do not recommend this book. It will indicate what to look for, but as far as approaching and correcting equipment deficiencies, it's extremely limited !

Is a good book overall has detailed information of how heating and cooling systems work I was impressed that it even has oil boilers info, for the price I expected to have colored pictures but im still happy with this book will recommend to beginner's
