Phenomenal
Totally makes up for the other lacklustre DC universe films. Prior to watching this the only DC film I'd even vaguely enjoyed was Suicide Squad, because inspite of how terrible it was, at least it was something other than yet another Batman or Superman reboot. At this point I'd pretty much given up on DC and got my superhero fix from Marvel. This film changes everything, it is pretty much perfect. Amazing story, fantastic soundtrack, and Gal Gadot nails it as Wonder Woman. This film actually makes me excited for the next DC release, I just hope they've learned their lesson about what their audience wants and continue to give us films like this.

A proper super-hero movie - like the best of Marvel (but by DC?!?!?)
So let's begin with two obvious points.1) this is a superhero movie2) the hero is a womanSo, this means that this film will appeal to two audiences (i) superhero movie fans and (ii) women who want a her who looks like them. This is arguably the same premise as Marvel's Captain Marvel. But this latter film fell flat, at least in the view of the male members of my family. The girls loved it. But it didn't really have the wow factor to be a top, top superhero film. Myself and my son (and my wife, oddly) were left feeling flat. Like we'd been in a film produced by brainstorm where the question was "how do we bring gender equality into the MCU" - we felt manipulated and not entertained.None of these problems affects Wonder Woman. The plot is strong. Wonder Woman takes on the proto-Nazi's of World War 1 AND battles the God of War whilst supported by a Yankee, an Arab hustler, a Native American and a drunk Scot. This feels like vintage Captain America - and, indeed, WW packed the punch of the first MCU Captain America movie.More importantly, though, WW felt like I was reading a comic book. A vintage comic book. I half expected to see ads for Sea Monkeys and Charles Atlas's muscle growth plan appear at certain points in the drama.Gal Gadot was excellent as Wonder Woman (her Israeli accent had the fun side effect of making every other woman of the Amazon Nation speak in a copycat Israeli accent - hysterical for those of us who know real Israelis). The Love story was believable. The Action story was gripping. The Ancient Mythology bent the truth a lot (and had the film's only logical flaw: Zeus seems to have been murdered before Diana (WW) came into being at his hand - odd that!).All together a 10/10.

Enjoyable movie
Not a great watcher of superhero movies, but I remember enjoying the Wonder Woman TV series with Lynda Carter in the late '70s. So I thought I'd try this one. I really enjoyed it. There was a coherent story, with a beginning, middle, and end - something which seems to be missing from many CGI-heavy films these days. I watched it all the way through without pausing once which is a good sign since I usually start to get bored before we're half way through and need to go make a cuppa, and check the internet for excitement. So yes, it's worth a watch.

A cracking film full of dynamism and action!
Fantastic! I loved it, a great story with some great acting, a real hit for DC! Chris Pine is good as the male lead but Gal Gadot is the true star, she is convincing in Diana's naivety and passion and conveys her dismay with humanity sincerely. She also has convincing chemistry with Pine and the comic moments together are well crafted. I watched it twice in three days because I felt my wife just had to see it, she loved it too!

I just, literally, cannot fault it.
I bought this for my daughter to watch, it's Wonder Woman with modern CGI - loads of fun.I actually bought it for me.Gal Gadot. Man alive.I'd crawl naked over broken glass to paint circles on the bottom of her recycling bin.

It’s Marvel-lous (see what I did there)
Personally I’m not a massive fan of this film, not that it’s a bad film, it’s just that I don’t like any films to do with the war. The rest of the film is awesome and I appreciate the war is crucial to the story. I didn’t realise when we went to see this in the cinema that it had the war in it (I don’t watch trailers or read film reviews generally) but hubby wanted I see and that’s what you do in a marriage isn’t it? He loves it and of course it is Marvel so it is naturally awesome.

I watched it again and again. That’s how good it is. She’s a proper version of WW!
Contrary to some reviews who say it’s a Feminist Woke movie, it’s not. If anything WW is pro-men or more accurately pro-mankind. The villain had to be a Brit and a man too; but her love interest is an American – go figure. Brill, brill and brill! The final battle is just awesome and the mythological backbone (based on Greek Mythology) is philosophically stimulating. I’m in love. Worth buying in Blu-ray.

Brilliant.
As an origin story, this was great! O.K. it did borrow from 300 in some scenes but that did not detract from the overall impression the film gave. Now as an in historian myself i know that American media finds that recorded time is a flexible concept and somewhat conveniently nonlinear to it's entertainment objectives which in a film like this works great, but not when you've got a president that thinks this way too. Nevertheless TRUMP V Wonder Woman, like to see that sequel!
