Great system
I ordered this on the advice of one of the Amazon reps since it had everything I was looking for (and I was very specific on what I wanted.) It runs great. The only issue I had trouble with was the face recognition for login; the light always seemed too low for it to work properly and it would just churn forever. I disabled that (uninstalled it) and it's been running fine ever since. Plenty of speed and power for what I use it for -- Internet browsing, light games, word processing, spreadsheets. Movies play great, display is great.

Very Satisfied
I bought this laptop in 2009 and boy has it stood the test of time. I did have to change the battery on this device a couple years ago as it was no longer holding the charge. i opted for a 'non-brand-name' version and have no complaints . I have upgraded software regularly, and use it on a DAILY basis for both work and home. I would definitely recommend this and/or similar Lenovo products

Modest - Competent - Inexpensive
It has served me well. Purchased in 2009 or so. Not crazy about the facial recognition sign-in, so I disabled it. The cover camera is low-mid quality, but suitable for most uses. It has now become a slug, so I will be installing an SSD drive and Windows 10. The original fan failed, which I easily and inexpensively replaced. Overheating caused some operating failures, but that was cured with the new fan. Battery life has never been particularly good, so I purchased a spare. I originally purchased through the MS store, who provided the machine with all Lenovo bloat-ware eliminated. I had some issue and had to send it to Lenovo who returned the machine with all their junk software installed. I'm looking forward to the SSD and Windows 10 install, which I suspect will extend the life of this very modest, but competent laptop.
