THE LAND OF STORIES 06: WORLDS COLLIDE

An epic end to an amazing series. For follow up there are other books. One of my most enjoyed ending of a series, in fact the best one. Lot of drama, imagination and emotion was in this book. Chris surely had to collect a lot of information for this book about NYC but I think he lives there so........ I'll buy many more of his books as he has an overactive imagination that gives them a certain charm. Thank you Chris Colfer! Delivery was good and quick. Book was in good condition. In my opinion take hardcover as it is cheaper than softcover (this is the first time I'm seeing this too!) Waiting for more of his books. Must read for everyone of any age.

best land of stories conclusion possible

This is bought for my son and he loves the series of this book. He is sorry that this is the last book of the series. The story takes place in NY City - a war happening there with various fairy tales mixed up. Very enjoyable (according to him).

It has taken me years to finish the series. That’s because of work commitments. Once you read the books, you get so engrossed in them. This like the others gives true joy. I got this book on Kindle and as I was on vacation, finished it in a few days. I really enjoyed it. Unlike some finales, this one is satisfying.

This was a fun series to read with my 8 year old girl at bedtime. Fairy tales, magic and adventures where the kids are the heroes! What's not to love. This series is well written and is very imaginative. Will keep adults entertained and kids engaged. Sad to see it end, but the author did well by the series with the ending. Would not be shocked if this becomes a tv series or movie one day.

There are very few children's books out there that are meaningful, adventurous, and witty at the same time. This book and the entire series in general passes my criteria with flying colors. Chris Colfer weaves an entertaining story dappled with humor and suspense that keeps you turning the page at 4:30 am or whenever you think, "Just one more chapter." We first start with a meet-and-greet at a bookstore celebrating Mr. Bailey's 80th birthday. Mr. Bailey is, of course, Conner Bailey himself, so this is quite a time jump into the future. This chapter was amazingly written and absolutely necessary for many reasons, the first of which being the little phrases hinting at economical cars, paper not made from trees, and apparently illegal caffeine 65 years from now. (That's right, Starbucks lovers, get your caffeine fix while you still can.) But there's more! We find out that Bree Campbell and Conner were indeed happily married for fifty years. There is all-important information as well, such as old Conner becoming an astoundingly successful author or his faulty mind forgetting the whereabouts of his mysterious sister Alex. Other than the incredibly heartwarming chapter near the end that discusses the true meaning of happily ever after, this was by far my favorite chapter (and usually, I hate first chapters.) I won't reveal too much about the rest of the book, but Rook from book three does return and his loyalty to Alex was sweet, although I was Team Arthur all the way. Trollbella finds a new love, unexpectedly, and Bree and Conner finally discuss their relationship. This book then comes full circle with the appearance of John Bailey, the twins' dad. I won't say how, but it was an especially tearjerking chapter for me. It was an amazing conclusion to the amazing last book of the wonderful series, and I don't think the ending could have happened any other way. So I have just one final remark to put out there: Do you believe in magic?

I think that this book is a very unique book with lots of intresting twists and turns. I admire Connor's determination, Alex's bravery, Froggy's modesty etc. This book tells the story of Alex, who has been cursed by evil witches and how Connor and his friends have to do all they can to save her, and the world p, from an approaching army.
