Naturcolor, Palest Saffron Blonde 10r, 4 Fl Oz

This is TOXIC. Having used henna for many years, I was curious about something new and moisturizing. I was drawn to the medicinal extracts included in this blend and am admittedly satisfied with its coverage. However, as much as I wanted to love this, the sad truth is that it is inaccuracy advertised and woefully deceptive. It does have PPD and its included treatments include Parabens. Please read the package. Also, read the closing ingredients of the dye carefully. Feel free to do a quick search of the closing 5 ingredient (other than hydrogen peroxide which is used as an oxidant and soothing agent). As with near all permanent dark hair dyes, they are synthetic, used in gasoline, derived from coal tar, pose treats of eco toxicity, are readily absorbed into the blood and organs, and markedly hazardous. In laboratory settings, employees are only permitted by law to handle these chemical compounds for certain intervals with extreme precaution and protective equipment. Considering that the skin on the head, the scalp, is most porous, and heat activated as reportedly approximately 75% of body heat filters here, think of how dangerous it is to have these synthetics oxidized and absorbed at the rate in which they are.Not. For. Me.

My hair turned completely white by the time I was 35. This stuff is absolutely the best thing I have ever used. NO damage, soft and beautiful, people literally stop me almost every day and compliment my hair, and I’m not kidding. Fantastic product.

I probably would never have tried this if it wasn't for the pandemic. I usually use regular box color, dark blonde, but it's out of stock everywhere near me. I guess hair dye is the new toilet paper. I tried this for no other reason than that it's a dark blonde and the bad reviews are not too bad. They mostly just say it didn't work, no one says they have green hair or anything. I thought it was easy to apply. The gel is dark and so you can really see where it's saturated right away. I left it on my roots for 20 minutes, then combed it through like the directions say, and left it for about 35 minutes. I washed it off- I am stunned. It looks great. I have about 35% gray hair, it's been going gray since I was about 23, and this dyed all my gray roots with a really deep color. I think it's better than normal box dye. I was also a big fan of the conditioner in the box, it was really high-quality. It melted into my hair immediately and there was almost nothing to rinse out. My hair is on the dry side and I'm a big user of conditioner and this melted right in. I honestly expected this to be useless and I tried it mostly because I was bored but I didn't think it would work. I think it's the best my hair has looked in years. I will rebuy and will also get the large bottle of the conditioner.UPDATE: I'm updating this review after three uses. First, I still really like it. I think it works as well/better than nice and easy but the color it gives is very natural. I would describe it as a honey or wheat blonde. I'm going to contend with some of the instructions. At one point it says not to saturate your hair and this is wrong. The more you saturate your hair the better it works. The second time I used it I really coated every hair and it made a big difference. The instructions also say that it stops working after a while so not to leave it on longer than the directions say. I don't think this is true. I've started leaving it on new growth probably an hour and 20 minutes and I think that's really optimal for the results I want and to completely dye the grey hair. Third, the description of this product says it doesn't lift/lighten your hair but it does. It's not several shades lighter, and I don't think you can get any type of platinum blonde with this but it does lighten my hair from an ashy blonde/cool light brown to a medium light honey blonde. So this is what I would say: best results, saturate your hair completely. I put tons on my new roots. Leave it on at least more than an hour. It does lighten your hair and it does cover grey completely and dye it permanently as long as you put enough on and leave it on a good while. The benefits of this product are that the color is really so natural, it looks gorgeous, it is healthier and smells way better than box color, it doesn't sting your skin, and it isn't damaging to hair. I'm going to keep using this as long as they make it. My hair looks like I spent $200 on it or that I naturally have the most gorgeous blonde. I didn't actually think my hair looked bad before but now that I see the difference it just looks so upscale compared to the box color I was using before.

This is not a natural hair dye. It has PPD, which is an irritant and allergen. Thankfully I did a test patch, which is what’s recommended. I reacted and now have 2 inch by 2 inch patch of nasty, red, bumpy and blistered sores.

I've been dying my own hair for over 10 years and I've experimented with many different brands and colors. I wanted to try a more "natural" option since I'd gotten tired of the harsh chemicals. This dye is really gentle and doesn't have the harsh smell that many dyes have. I used shade 4N over my previously bleached and colored magenta hair and got a really nice dark mahogany color. This dye also left my damaged hair in better condition. It's important to consider what color and condition your hair currently is when selecting a color as it will effect the results. I will say that the immediate result will be darker than expected. The after picture was taken after 3 shampoos, and I feels it's done washing out. If you have thick or long hair I would get more than one box. I have very thick shoulder length hair and it took 3 boxes. Overall, I'm very happy with the result and will be buying this dye again in the future!

This hair dye worked very well to cover my gray roots. I am changing my coloring to all natural ingredients because the traditional dyes made my scalp itchy. This dye covered stubborn grays along the hairline, looks very natural, did not stain my skin, and was very gentle on my hair. I think I have found my new favorite!BTW, I have 14inch long straight, thick hair. Dark brown with about 40% gray. I swim about 4 times a week so hair dye normally fades faster on me.

I love this hair color. I switched over to this brand from using many other brands about 6 months ago and will never use anything else. It doesn’t smell like chemicals... if anything just a faint and rather pleasant smell of some herbs or sasparilla (?) root. The color it leaves covers my gray roots and leaves a shiny blonde tone that has incredible depth and shine. It almost costs the strands and it looks like my hair was dipped in honey. I like to mix in 1/4 bottle of 9R which is from the copper series with a full bottle of 9N from the Natural Series to add a bit of warmth to the shade. for a whole head application but usually I just mix up a half batch at a time for my roots. I can not speak to the other shades but the selection and range look beautiful. I hope this review helps someone who has been curious about trying Naturcolor.

This product was the least irritating hair dye I've tried. It provided a mix of light and dark shades.

Although box was bent, inside contents were fine.
