I gave this as a gift to a friend of mine because she works in places that a microwave just isn't accessible. So, I gifted her this so that all she has to do is just plug it into an outlet and let the mini cooker do its work. I've used my cooker for years and it has never failed me when it comes to heating up my food. However, some key tips to understand:1. This is a small portable oven with a hotplate as its base. The food will heat up but it will take time.2. You can heat up single serve frozen meals in the cooker. Example: If you go into work at 9 AM and lunch is at 12 PM. You can plug in your hot logic when you come in and when you are ready to eat the meal is piping hot ready to go. No cold or frozen spot like you would get from a microwave.3. The base is hot enough to melt a plastic sandwich bag or plastic wrap that comes with French Bread Pizza. I put a napkin in between the plastic and heater plate. Problem solved.Finally, if you are a person who doesn't like using microwaves or there isn't enough microwaves in your place of employment and you have wasted a good amount of time waiting for an open microwave. This product can save you time and make you enjoy your meal.

I've been using this for 5 years. I keep it at work and use it for 90% of my lunches. It's obviously perfect for reheating leftovers or frozen meals. It can also be used for cooking food from raw. I've made frozen chicken breast (cut in half), onions, potatoes and broc for one of my fav fresh lunches. I've put other raw foods... you have to do some trial and error to figure out just how to you need to prepare the raw items so they can fully cook in time (for me it's usually about 4-5 hours between the time I get to work until I have lunch). Only time I've been disappointed was thicker baby carrots weren't fully cooked. But if I slice them in half, they were perfect. I've got one for the office, one mini for home as well as the family size. I've also purchased them for my kids in college as well as given them as gifts to my employees. I've yet to have an issue with any of them... and those who have been gifted them have reported the same. Just don't reheat in styrofoam or plastic bags (at least not w/o a barrier like a paper plate). If you forget the plate, you'll have a heck of a mess to clean up.

Got this for my partner because her work doesn't have enough microwaves and all 40 workers take lunch at the same time. This heater box is a lifesaver! It accepts glass and plastic containers and can even cook food - though we only use it to reheat. Just be aware you might need to vent your food periodically if you leave it plugged in for a long time. Love this and all the colors it comes in!

It gets nearly daily use and have seen no change in its heating ability. It is easy to clean, light weight, and easy to carry. Its handle is large enough I can loop it over my wrist or arm.I not only eat healthier, but cheaper as well. It paid for itself in the first week.I also don’t have to wait for a microwave or be concerned about my food being the wrong temperature. I am definitely Goldilocks when it comes to food temperatures so this is saying a lot. You truly plug it in and forget about it without having to worry. Yes it takes a bit for frozen meals, but no one eats as soon as they get to work, right?I’ve recommended it to friends and they have all loved it too.

I had one of these in the past but lost it. I decided to buy another and am just as happy with this as before. Great purchase!

This thing is great. It heats left overs to the perfect temp in about an hour. You will never want to use a microwave again. I Purchased a glass dish for it. It came with a plastic takeout style one. You need this product.

I bought this to take to work to keep my breakfast and lunch warm. I have used it at home three times now. It is absolutely amazing! The first meal I heated up was leftover chicken enchilada, 1/2 chili relleno, and rice and beans. It was nice and hot, just as good as the night before! Not rubbery and dried out like when you use the microwave.The second meal was 1/2 chorizo, egg, potato, and cheese burrito. I wrapped it in tin foil and put it directly on the hot plate. I turned it over after 20 minutes.Tonight I put in a mini meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and corn. This was one of my meal prep meals I had in the freezer. I didn't let this defrost before putting it in the oven. Out turned out very good. The potatoes and meat were perfect. The corn was a little tough, but I still love how meals turn out in this mini oven.I haven't tried putting in frozen meals, or cooking raw food in it yet, but when I do I'll update this review.I absolutely recommend this product! I am going to be buying the full size one next! And probably more of the mini ones!

This is a MUST buy for anyone who likes to eat a hot meal when away from home! I am often visiting in a nursing home and get tired of eating cold sandwiches! Saw this on Amazon and the reviews were great so I thought I would give it a try. Simply put your home cooked meal in the HOT LOGIC, plug it in, wait a couple hours for the hottest meal ever! Makes being away from home at lunch or dinner time a very pleasant experience! Thank you HOT LOGIC! I will be telling all my friends here at the nursing home who are tired of not eating or eating cold food to get one because IT WORKS! ❤️
