I love it
The reed and body of my Duduk came in perfect condition. It came with a helpful guide that was translated for me in english. It only took a couple minutes of adjusting to play and hear that warm, enchanting sound I love so much. It made the entire room smell amazing. I am new to this instrument, but I recognize it is traditional and will need more care and ear training to be able to accurately achieve the notes I want to play. All in all, a great purchase.

I can play it okay enough, haha
My older two sons have digeridoos and they can play them very well! I can’t seem to figure it out. Bought this at my oldest’s request but he couldn’t figure it out and I can! I don’t know how to actually play it, but I can get it to make a nice noise 😁

feel the ancient
I own similar Chinese wind instrument Guanzi and Japanese Hichiriki, and i was happy to add this duduk into my collections, the quality is pretty good, easy to blow, and the sound it superb.

Beautiful instrument.
Really beautiful and playable instrument. Not easy to learn though. Be careful not to carry the flute around in the cloth case it comes with though. It slips out very easily. Got a small dent on it in the first 15 minutes of handling it. Comes with instructions, but this is an instrument that will take some effort to learn. Its not like a recorder where you can just pick up and play. I wish there was some sort of reed I could find that required no effort to use. Something you could just pop in and play. I couldnt find anything though. So theres an invention waiting to happen. I hope someone gets rich on the idea and sends me one for free. 😊

Not at all in tune
This is not a professional instrument. I bought it hoping that it would be useful to some extent...but it's better off as a decorative talking piece. It definitely makes a cool sound, but you can play no discernible or useful scale or melody with it.

comes with instructions and reed handling instructions
Beautiful product handcrafted in Armenia, country of origin of the duduk. My grandson plays clarinet in high school band and finds this instrument intriguing as he is 1/4 Armenian.
