Great low cost option for just viewing VR content.
This is my first pair of VR headset. I got it to use with my Pixel XL (yes, 1st generation). As all the other name brand headsets are extremely expensive, I was surprised to find this headset at this price. I have compared the specs for a lot of the other headsets and have finally settled on this one. The main factor is that it is the lightest of all the ones I have been looking for. My thinking is that if it is to stay on your head for a long time, it better be light enough to not strain your neck.Fitting the phone into the headset was perfect. The headset had adjustable brackets that allows for phones of various height (or is it width when you lay it down landscape style?). The adjustable headband was easy to put together and stays with Velcro, this is a smart choice as it allows for adjustment for heads of all sizes. I do wear glasses so when putting it on, I took off my glasses. The headset had adjustments for each eye (you would turn it in a circular motion to adjust it to your vision. I had to adjust it clockwise to the highest setting to watch the movie clearly. As for the VR application, I searched the app store for some free VR software, they work fairly well but I am still searching for the best one to use. I used it to watch a full movie and the experience was good. It does feel a bit heavy after a long duration but I am going to argue that this is going to be true to all of the VR headsets as you’re putting a big piece of plastic in front of your face for a long time.

CHEAP
So let me be clear. This item is in perfect working order and nothing is wrong with it. But here's the thing, this thing is made so cheap, there's so much light bleed, and it doesn't cover the whole screen of your phone. I use a oneplus 7 pro and this does fit the whole phone inside but it's just not adjustable enough to see a clear picture. I know other reviews have stated this does work with a oneplus 7 pro, and it does, sort of, but it's just not the experience you're hoping for. At best this is a good like "test me for 1 minute to see if you like VR" kind of experience but this thing will fall off your head, or break very quickly. This last bit has nothing to do with the product itself but it should be stated there is no VR experiences or content for android at least that I could find to even make a purchase for a headset for your phone worth it. Save your money or build your own VR goggles with cardboard... This was not worth 20 dollars

It works ok
As a vr headset for an iPhone or Android device this product is acceptable enough to keep but does have a few problems.First, the headstrap is too small. It works but the adjustments to increase the size just aren't good enough. Even at the longest setting the headset feels like it's gripping around the top of my head and not more centered around the back of my head. It won't fall off but it cause the weight of the unit to be more forward heavy. This brings me to the next problem. The padding around the nose is just bad. Having the firm corner of plastic resting on the mid to top part of your nose will make it sore. It almost makes the headstrap pointless because you will want to re-enforce the support of the headset with your hands. For the price I suppose it's still worth it. After all, if you want you can makeshift a little extra padding for the nose part. The focus and lens adjustments are nice and I think in the end that's why I decided not to return it. It just didn't cost that much and although I feel like I shouldn't have to add padding, a simple test by the makers surely would have told them it would be uncomfortable, I believe the good points about this headset make it worth a simple makeshift to bring it up to par. If I had to actually spend more money to fix the nosepiece, I would have sent it back.

Very interesting, loved it!
The headset was very easy to set up and start using. The image quality was great too. I had a very interesting experience with it. The only reason why I gave it four star is because that the headphone jack can only plug in to android phones. Since I have IPhone, which only has lightning headphones, it affects my hearing experience a little. Overall, it does the use of the headset! You can easily hear it from the speaker on your phone when you turn it on full volume or you can simply solve it by connecting it to a Bluetooth. Definitely recommend it! Considering to buy another as a gift to my cousin.

Pretty Legit for the price
This is a pretty good VR headset for mobile. Make sure to use all 3 adjustment knobs.I think 90% of my wrestling with this project was not seeing the 3rd knob, not having a controller or good VR video app, not realizing there are little plastic covers on the headset, and then realizing my VR videos were just kind of low quality to begin with. So, look for 4k vids, use VR Box Player, use all adjustment knobs, put your phone in highest resolution setting (change power settings). The only annoying thing is the little black tab that you sometimes see while watching. I have no idea why but I seem to see it in certain apps and not in others. I kind of just ignore it.This will be a better investment when 4k and 8k phones become more mainstream, because this type of headset benefits from phone resolution. Also, my screen protector kind of sucks so this can affect the screen quality when viewing it. Screen protectors generally look perfect during regular phone use, but when you look closely or with a VR headset you may see some blurring or pixelation of sorts.Would be good if it had a controller but those are a dime a dozen. Gotta figure out Xbox controller with phone and maybe see if there's a mouse cursor app for it.Overall 9/10 because no controller and because of the black tab thing. You can actually put the phone in front of the black tab instead and just close the case and it tends to work fine as well, but it takes a bit more work to line up your phone with the lenses.
