SH24DBRNL-60 Vented Gas Fireplace Logs, 24", Charred Hickory

It took about 2 hours to assemble. The instructions are not that easy to follow ... it comes set up for NG. If you're using propane hire a pro to install it. Doesn't matter. The finished product is absolutely stunning. I replaced a unit that I paid $1000 for 10 years ago ... and this one looks so much more beautiful.

Was a little time consuming to put in and get it placed correctly, as well as getting the flames looking good and relatively even across the logs. But once in and tweaked over a couple of weeks, I get a ton of compliments!My fireplace looks as good or better then friends who spent a $1000. So, great bargain for the money. I bought an extra bag of "Natural Glo Glowing Embers" and distributed maybe 25% more of the extra bag. They really glow like real embers. Plus you'll have more to add through the year, as they eventually disintegrate over a long time.ABSOLUTELY would buy again!! I only gave it 4 stars because of tweaking time, but honestly, I'm not sure how you could get any gas fireplace to set up any faster if you're particular about how your fire looks. Enjoy!

I disliked the parts department employee. Parts department would not send gas valve as suggested by installer. Employee rude.

Looks great but the remote stopped working after a few months. I wish someone would help me get a new one but doesn’t seem like I can even contact the seller anymore.

Tech support was very good, but I had to move the pilot and thermopyle to get it to remain lit.I'd give this product 5-stars if it worked without having to take it apart after completely setting it up. It's a beautiful and realistic fire that could easily pass for a wood fire.

Great product. The only thing sometime it turns off by itself.

it looks very nice , the only thing that was wrong , was one of the small logs came broken : (

First unit pilot regulator railed after 2 days of use. I asked for a replacement regulator assembly in 3 online chats and was met with uncomprehending reps and a reputation of pushing the client to the manufacturer. Ended up getting a replacement and swapping out the regulator.EDIT: 30 November 2020 - this replacement unit fails to remain lighted as earlier condition. Sure Heat has gone out of business and Amazon will not stand behind the manufacturer's warranty. I'll think twice before purchasing any home goods from Amazon in the future...
