Great NVR but you’ll need to download manual

Great little NVR. Interface is pretty dated but that is true for all of these systems. Fan is extremely loud - Google to find a common mod to replace it for <$20. Current fan is good quality and extremely strong - but if you don’t need that much heat removal it is overkill and obnoxiously loud. (Any quieter replacement will not move as much air.)

Disappointed in the Dahua customer support
Switched my NVR over from an Alibi to this and have had nothing but problems getting the cameras that are Dahua to connect. The first day I contacted customer service and the tech got two of my five cameras connected. 2 days later they went offline. I don't know what he did but he screwed something up. I've been so frustrated with their customer service that I basically gave up. It's such a headache dealing with them getting a basic system connected that I've had running for over 8 years without issue. This is another company where customer service works Eastern standard night time because they are in Asia.
