Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S On/Off-Road Tire - 245/70R16 106S

Picked these up for a drive to Minnesota via Texas. I was looking for a comfy but rugged tire that had all-weather capabilities without shelling out tons of money for a top-end tire. Well so far they have been perfect. They hold great in snow and do reasonably well in pooling/hard rain. I say reasonably well because there is some play and I don't think they're pushing water away as great as they could. It could also be my Jeep that's sloshing around(suspension?), and not the tire's fault, but I didn't notice this before. I've been on them for about two years now and the tread is holding up beautifully. I check tire pressure about once a month and have not had a single issue in tire wear. Road noise is minimal considering how beefy these are. Again, that could be my car making it echo through the chassis more, your results may differ.Overall, if you're in the market for a long-lasting all-weather tire, look no further. I've actually picked up a second set to keep around in case of whatever. I also didn't want to be at the mercy of a dealer with a couple of lesser known brands if or when I hit a nail in the road. I can't recommend these enough.UPDATE: Almost 2 years later and these tires are still holding up great and sound just as smooth on the road as they did when they were new. Just don't forget to rotate and you'll appreciate them as much as I have.

I ordered a set of these tires after using Amazon's size check utility for my 2002 Trailblazer LTZ. According to Amazon, the tire would fit. It was wrong. I checked the actual size of my wheels after placing the order and found my rims are 17", not 16". No way a 16" tire will fit.Having ordered on a Saturday, I thought I could easily cancel the order and resubmit for a 17" tire. No go. The order had been processed for shipping after just a few hours.I'm guessing it will take weeks before I receive a credit and can reorder the correct size without being double charged. We'll see. I have already placed the correct size tire in my cart. I'm not bashing Amazon, just trying to help.I gave the tire 5 stars, it is a good product, but mostly to make sure this review would be read. While the Amazon size utility is wrong, the Yokohama website is correct. Be sure to check so you don't find yourself dealing with a missorder.

I am an outdoorsman. A lot of off-road driving. The treading on these tires grip rough terrain perfect . It flings off mud and clears you a path to your destination(★★★★★). Coming home is just as easy as crocodile on land for rain, snow & ice(★★★★) with optimum tire pressure.

Look good on my Cherokee not a lot of road noise excellent traction on all road conditions that I've driven them on.
