The remote controls the LED bulb, so it might be easiest to buy a new LED bulb-remote combo. You might even find the name of the manufacturer on the bulb inside the lamp, and they might sell remotes, too.

Does this lamp dim down to nightlight brightness? I’m looking for a moon lamp that isn’t too bright to have on when trying to sleep.

It gets very dim on nightlight mode. I think it looks great and is little more than a dim glow.

Is it bright enough to be the main lighting in the room? I want to put it in my sons nursery. It’s not a big room either.

I would disagree. I don’t think it’s bright enough on any setting to be used as the primary source of light in a room. I am using in a room less than 100sf and its not sufficient.
