Part II puts the saga together. I thoroughly enjoyed this part very much.

GREAT PRODUCT GREAT SERVICE

Godfather part II switches back and forth from present day (in the movie) to back when Vito Corleone was a young boy back in Italy were he was born. It jumps back and forth numerDon Vito Corleoneous times in order to tell you the story of how Vito Corleone became Don Vito Corleone very quickly. After the first time watching this movie andviewing later on I found the "history" jumping back and forth tedious. But still worth watching it all the way through to understand the Vito Corleone character and how his "career" as a "Don" began. The movie also likes to bounce around from the U.S. to Italy and you have to pay attention as to why your going from here to there. I think maybe the movie could have done fine without the Vito Corleone history and when I do watch it I do fast forward through a lot of those earlier years. I do recommend it for the reason it is The Godfather part II and takes takes you along Al Pacino's role and the power that he has inherited from his father Don Vito Corleone after his death. I find myself comaring the this father and son and by the end of part II come to the conclusion that Al Pacino's character is far more heartless and evil than his father ever was.I would give the movie 5 stars but the jumping back and forth in the movie annoyed me enough to take one star off

I've see the movie before and I was disappointed to find missing scenes and 'digitizing' half way through the movie. I made the purchase from this seller given the high number of 5 Star reviews. I know, not everything can be perfect 100% of the time. But to charge a restocking fee of nearly half the cost of the DVD. My reason for the return had to do with the DVD quality (very poor). So now someone else will receive this low quality movie and the cycle may well repeat itself.

As the 2nd installment it provides in depth study of Michael Corleone with significant segments of his life. I have already watched 5 times. Kudos to actors, director etc.
