The product seemed ok quality. There were no instructions so I had to find a Youtube video on how to do it. I've replaced the battery on several phones so I figured, I'd save some $$ and do this myself. I did not get passed trying to get the screen open... There is adhesive around the edges. You heat that up and then remove screen. Easier said than done. I must not have heated the adhesive enough because it would not come apart. If you pull to hard, you will crack the screen... ask me how I know... Anyway, after the screen cracked, I threw in the towel and bought my wife a new Ipad.

If I could return I would. Had this put into my son's ipad. It hasn't been in there a week, and doesn't hold charge very long and it takes forever to charge up. Spend more money getting a new one from a good source.

I was looking for an OEM battery for my 12.9” iPad Pro 2015 because it would get to about 50% then die. I could hard reset it and it would come on for about 5 seconds like normal show like 45% battery then die again. Since this was such a painful process I wanted to get an original battery so I wouldn’t have to have iPad surgery ever again. I just couldn’t find one, all were “unbranded”. I took a leap of faith with this one, with no reviews yet and I couldn’t be happier. They looked like the exact same battery. Minus 0.5 star because it was produced the same time (2/16) as the original, but oh well it looks great. Got it in the iPad and had 42% life in it left it on the charger and it’s time for bed. I will update this review later.

This is NOT EVEN CLOSE to quality of original Manufacturer battery used in iPad 12.9”. We made a video (It’s under product videos) to show some of the obvious deficiencies (we don’t want to show all of them as it only causes the poor Counterfeit products to get harder to spot). The most obvious ones are safety issues like swollen cells. The less obvious ones are things like the ribbon cable that connects the two cells together and associated connections is very thin and will cause uneven current sharing between the cells leading to one cell failing before the other becuase it’s taking most of the load. I highly suggest you watch the 7 minute side by side comparison video we made against the genuine original battery and judge for yourself if you want to risk having to repeat a several hour long repair due to quality of these batteries. It might just save you HOURS of frustration (or worse if one of these fails catastrophically in your device). The only major issue I had with this product was that the top of the battery, (which unfortunately is the most critical for the IPAD Pro this was used for) was bunched up and therefore did not lay flat when installed which caused a "dimple" in the screen. The price was great for the product, just make sure it is flat before inserting it would be my recommendation to anyone purchasing this.

Don't waste your money entire battery lasted about 4 months. Now it wont fully charge not passing 50%.
