Took me 35 min to install from start to finish including detailing the headphones (dandruff and wax near the ear speakers when pads removed), but I am slow. And nearsighted & farsighted so I used a silver sharpie to side-mark the clips for ear pads and for the screw holes on side of headband. Also a clamp was helpful to keep the clips together when needing to align and then put in those tiny headband screws.

I have had these headphones for about 8 years now and have been reluctant to use them for a couple of months due to the headband and ear pads disintegrating and leaving pieces all over me. This repair/replacement kit is a great way to extend the life of these headphones. The ear pads are super easy to replace and the headband, while more tricky is also very doable. The video tutorials they provide are easy to follow and very thorough. The only slightly tricky thing, as others have mentioned, is the size of the screws that hold the little clips at each end of the head band in place, which is no fault of the kit. I haven't had the replacement parts on for long so durability is yet to be seen, but so far wearing the headphones is as comfortable as I remember. Perhaps the fit is a tad tighter but I imagine that will break in quickly. The only difference in appearance is that the top of the headband is textured while the original was smooth.

Package comes with Ear pads Headband Two small pick tools I used one of the picks to snap pads in place. Worked perfectly. I didn’t replace headband yet as I was not sure how Bose has the original attached. This package uses Velcro to secure in place. Not sure about that part just yet. However, the ear pieces are holding nicely, are just as comfortable as originals and made headphones look new again! My bf LOVES his AE2Link Bose headphones, so we wanted to refresh vs buying new headset. This is THE answer!!!

This is a great replacement for the AE2 headphone. My original ear pad and head pad became extremely worn and were disintegrating. The replacement was a breeze to replace and is just as comfortable as the original.

My headphones look like new!!!! This kit had absolutely everything I needed to refresh my headphones including the headband! It comes with tools to remove everything and the video they have on youtube really helps! The materials feel like a nice leather and I have been using them for about 3 months now and they still look new! It was so fast and easy to do, I should have done it sooner had I known! The first pictures are from before the change and the last pictures are after I changed the cushions! I highly recommend this kit!

Very happy. Installed easily. Didn't even need the instructions. Takes a little work to get the ear pads to snap in place, but they fit perfectly and are very comfortable. The head band seems a bit tricky, but use the included plastic tool to push the zipper forward. Works perfectly. Screwing the end caps on is no different than repairing a pair of sunglasses. Easy. Great product. Glad I found it. I ordered two sets to keep my head and headphones happy for many years to come. This is a great company. Thanks, guys!
