Works wonderfully
So I spent $450 dollars to get hot pink balayage/two tone hair. To my dismay the pink faded within 2 weeks almost out to blonde at my tips and a dull pink towards my roots. I contacted my hairdresser who said I could go back in for an overlay of color for $150. After just spending $450 two and a half weeks before there was no way I was going to agree to $150 upkeep appointments every 2 to 3 weeks. I researched hot pink hair dye and found Arctic Fox that was very close to my original color. I ordered the dye and figured I’d just have to dye it myself every few weeks (at $20 a pop) Then this product popped up in my search so I clicked on it. It had great reviews and it seemed like it might do the job so I ordered it to give it a try. Both this and the hair dye came in at the same time and I opted to try the conditioner first. I put it on my dry hair and let it sit for 20 minutes to get the most bang for my buck. It did dye my hands and scalp pink. My hands scrubbed off and I’m sure my scalp will at my next wash. I did Have to use a separate conditioner after rinsing out this product. My hair was NOT soft as it was advertised it would be. I did rinse my hair off in the shower and the water did turn pink but it did not stain my white tub. I’m extremely pleased with the color my hair came out. It’s not as bright of a pink as my hair was originally dyed. It’s more of a vibrant magenta. However, it is pretty and my color is definitely refreshed. I think from now on I’ll use it for 5 minutes as a refresh every few washes and see if that lightens up the color a little more. The price point is fairly high but for $40 I will get several applications (my hair is fairly fine, down to my mid back). I will continue to see my hairdresser every 8 to 10 weeks and use this conditioner to keep my color vibrant in between. If you are on the fence and are looking for something to keep your hair vibrant colors in between dye appointments I would high recommend this product! ****UPDATE**** I’m at day 10 since I used this conditioner. I didn’t wash in cold water and I’ve washed my hair twice. So far the color is holding up! It’s still very vibrant. There is a very slight fade going on at my tips but I only noticed it because I was going over my hair with an eagle eye specifically looking for any fading. This color (so far) held up better than the color I had done in the salon. Go figure!

My Go To Color-Depositing Conditioner!
REVIEW FOR PURPLE & RUBY Technique: What I've found works best is to apply generously to dry, relatively clean hair (not too oIily), then leave in for several hours. This way it also works well as a conditioning treatment. If you wash your hair only 1-2 times a week, it will last at least a month with a very slow fade. Look: The colors are very vibrant for the first couple of washes. The ruby is hot pink with lighter shades of hair (i.e. my grays) and a deep ruby on my brown. Both of these take really well to my grays. I get SO many compliments with these, more than I have ever had on my hair in the past. People love the variation between how the color takes to my grays vs browns, and they also love the transition when I've done the purple and my hair starts to grow out where you can see both the gray and the purple (they say it looks ombre-ish. TBH the Ruby is a little much for me - I feel like it's not as complimentary to my light skin tone in pics, so I will probably go for a more natural red next time. Photos: Both pics are after several washes. Cons: It will stain surfaces, so you have to be so careful. I cover the counter/sink with trash bags to avoid getting it on anything. It will also bleed quite a bit after washes, so you want to make sure you cover any surfaces your head is on with a towel if air drying your hair. I chose this over the brand I normally get (by Moroccan Oil) bc they didn't have the deep shade of purple I wanted. From what I remember, the Moroccan Oil leaves my hair feeling softer, but color seems to bleed faster than this one. I use a small amount of leave-in Biosilk daily which makes up for the softness I got with the Moroccan Oil brand.

If you want bold color that's easy to keep fresh...BUY THIS IMMEDIATELY
Y'all.....Y'all- I just. I can't even rave about this enough. This is so worth every single dollar. My hair stylist used this on my hair after my recent cut and color I had booked. I was a little nervous at first because I was expecting more traditional dye, and didn't think a shampoo had a hope in hell of providing the right depth of color for this shade of purple...Not to mention I assumed it would promptly wash out. Nope! Oh my god was I wrong and dang I'm glad I was so wrong. It's obviously a little on the pricier end for a "shampoo", but it is so worth it, because it was cheaper than going and getting my hair dyed, and then needing a touch up within a few months to preserve the color. Instead, I can use this shampoo every so often to freshen up my color, and I'm good to go! I wash my hair every other day, and use this shampoo once a week when I want to keep the color SUPER vibrant and deep, but if I don't mind a hint of washed out color (really just at my roots, it's just a little lighter), I use it only once over a period of 2 or 3 weeks. I have not yet tested how long I can go before the color is totally gone, because I just love the color so much. It is so dep and rich and perfect. As recommended by my stylist, I actually apply the shampoo to my hair dry sometimes, to get a richer color, and then I leave it on for about 5 minutes. If I shampoo it into wet hair, I still leave it on for about 5 minutes, but I definitely get a bolder shade when it's applied to dry hair. I also use the companion conditioner twice a month, but that shade of purple is not quite as vibrant, it's more of a gentle deep purple if that makes sense. On my other wash days, I am just using my regular color safe, natural shampoo and conditioner. My hair smells great, stays soft, looks healthy, and I can't recommend this enough. I plan to buy a few other colors to have some fun with in the coming months.

Good at keeping my purple overtones bright between salon visits.
I have dark brown hair and my stylist dyes it with purple and red overtones to give it some variety and pizzazz. The purple always fades before my next salon visit and I'm left with the red which gets a little brassy. She recommended this conditioner to keep the purple bright and it's been working great. I've been using it for a few months and it does keep the purple overtones- it's not super obvious or distracting, especially indoors- outdoors it's brighter and has more pop. I get a lot of compliments on my color much further from my salon visits now. It does temporarily stain hands and white tile and towels, but it washes out right away.

Great condition and holds color very well on lightened hair
This conditioner is amazing for bleached + pink dyed hair. I have been ordering it to touch up my magenta/hot pink hair between appointments. To get the true color you need to hair your hair bleached to a very light blonde (if it's dark like mine naturally). You can see in other reviews the color that you get when the hair is a darker blonde or light brown. Compared to regular hair color, it holds for several washes and while it does stain my towels initially, it doesn't leave stains on clothes or pillowcases! Very important: It will stain your nails and hands temporarily so use gloves to apply, section the hair and rub it in the way that hair dressers do. You also need to cover the sink or floor when applying. If you see staining in your shower or sink, use bleach right away and let it sit for a minute. This usually does the trick. Highly recomend overall as a conditioner as well. My hair comes out super soft after this process.

Great for toning brassy hair
Purchased the Graphite color which actually comes out of the bottle a purple grey. It toned down my brassy blonde ends. Trying to match my grey roots during the grow out period. Definitely made it better but not as much of a change as I'd hoped. I washed my hair, towel dried, applied thoroughly and left on 15 minutes. Next time I'll put it on my clean dry hair and leave it in for 20 minutes and update the pictures

JUST GET IT! Here's why...
This might be long, but bare with me because it's worth it and will probably answer a lot of questions about the product. I rarely am pleased enough with a product to do a review but if I am I make sure it's thorough! So a while back I am about to have my first boy and want to put some blue in my hair for my maternity photos, 3 stylists later and a bunch of mess ups and I have to settle on an oil rainbow style. To do this my whole head was bleached. I have my baby and after recovery my hair is crap where all the colors were except purple, my purple still looks awesome. So instead of going back to brown I decide to get crazy and do my whole head purple. (First row of photos is the day of and after getting my hair done at the salon.) My hair was not bleached a second time, purple was just put over the faded color but it still looked amazing. Fast forward to 4 months later and I have had faded purple hair for a while. (Second row of pictures.) As you can see it was now almost a light magenta and some spots were yellowish and some were back to blonde. I don't want to go to the salon every couple of months so I decide to just get a brown box dye off Amazon. I search and this product pops up. I read all the reviews and don't believe them but I love my purple hair so I decide to try and if it doesn't work then I'll go back to brown. 2 days later my product arrives, and after reading all the reviews I can stand and all the info under the questions area, I use it. I chose the conditioner over the shampoo because I have dry ends and that's where it was going. I put it on dry hair, it probably took 15 minutes to get it everywhere. I was not able to comb thru it like others say they did, it just made knots when I tried. I did have gloves on so I just massaged it in everywhere until I was covered. I then left it sit for 20 minutes or so. I jumped into the shower and it still felt a little dry for me so I used a tiny bit of my biolage color care shampoo and very quickly rubbed it in and rinsed. I followed that with my cleansing all natural conditioner and then my regular conditioner sat on it while I finished my shower. The last row of photos is my result after that initial use. All I can say is holy freaking crap I cannot believe how well it worked. I've told and showed probably 7 people in just the first 24 hours what this product has done for me. Now mind you this was probably almost 7 months after my initial bleaching, two fashion color dye jobs, and 4 months of fading before I found this to try it. It has not only made my hair feel and smell amazing but my color is possibly better than the day I left the salon! Everyone who has asked about it is now going to get it, since they have fashion colors and natural colors, to use on their hair! DO NOT let the negative reviews get to you, this product is meant for professionally bleach treated or blond dyed hair! You must have had that as a base at some point and those with negative reviews seem to be ones who didn't know it's not meant for natural hair. It can't stick to natural hair! If you have not had your hair bleached or dyed a shade of blond by a stylist or professional kit it will not work for you! However, if you have, this is a GAME CHANGER! I will not be going back to brown. I'll stick to having my hair bleached once a year or so and using this product! I have not had it on long enough to know how long it will last. With how great it turned out the first use I don't want it any darker so I won't use it again until the color turns back to that pinkish magenta in the second row of pictures. When that time comes, I'll update my review with how long it lasted and add pictures. If you are thinking of getting this and have had your hair treated with a bleach kit or have had it dyed blond, this is the product for you! It seriously works, I still can't believe it and all the people who see me daily are all getting their owe bottle already! GET IT! You won't be sorry!

Turned My Bleach Blonde Hair Army Green
Long story short- I do not even sort of recommend this product. I used this light brown conditioner on bleached blonde hair with light pink faint streaks. This isn’t my first time using a product from Celeb Luxury (I have the light pink shampoo and light pink conditioner from their Vivid line). The first (and only) time I washed (conditioned) my hair with this Gem Light Brown Conditioner, I conditioned with a regular conditioner after rinsing it out (as I’ve done with their other products). After getting dressed and towel drying my hair, I noticed that the pigment was not even so held my head over the tub and washed out the super pigmented part with a clear shampoo. This made it look a little more even but it still looked a bit blotchy. I had to get to class so I couldn’t mess with it more. My Mom commented (from a picture I sent her) that it looked like a natural color. I would describe it as almost a dark golden blonde color. I went to class and immediately a kid asked what I had done with my hair I said yea yea I tried to shampoo it light brown so I could keep the blonde when it rinsed out and I knew it didn’t turn out so please let’s not talk about it. Fast forward to the next day when I shampooed my hair with clear shampoo (as usual) and my regular conditioner. My hair started looking army green in spots (especially my bangs). I tried to shampoo just my bangs again and they turned more obviously green. I chose to leave it as I work from home and there wasn’t anything more I could do. After work, I went to the gym and hoped I didn’t have to get too close to anyone. I came home and shampooed my hair with a Head and Shoulders shampoo as I occasionally do. Again my hair turned more army green. I looked online and found out that there isn’t really anything other than use a pink or red shampoo to try to neutralize the green (luckily I had pink because I had been using it before). The next morning I washed with the pink conditioner only and it helped about 90%. I had class that night after work again and again the kid looked at me and I said- listen I know my hair is all over the place. I tried to do the light brown but after shampooing it with regular shampoo and it starting to rinse out, it started turning it green. He responded that yea he could tell. The next day I shampooed with the pink shampoo and although the army green is essentially gone, my hair has some crazy color thing going on. My hair now looks like almost a coral color in some areas and like a pinkish color in others. I regret using this product. I saw there was a warning about a high return rate for this product when I purchased it, but I thought Pshhh maybe this was their first time using this product but I’m experienced. No. This product from their line just sucks. The pigment does not rinse out/fade nice in my experience.
