The birds love it...

I have bought this product twice before and it's absolutely fine, the blackbirds especially love it. But this time I accidentally clicked the wrong size and bough the 1 litre size intstead of the 5 itre size which I wanted. The 5 litre size is much better value. Either size does come in a good, sturdy plastic bucket.

I believe this is the third time I’ve ordered sunflower hearts from this seller. If there was any problem it would be that the Blue tits, chaffinches, gold finches, green finches, long tail tits, sparrows, even the occasional wood pecker have huge appetites and are always very hungry - Hence we buy good quality in bulk! We love our garden birds and they eat a lot!! It’s economically cheaper to buy in bulk and we have the pleasure of watching all the wonderful birds who routinely visit our garden.

These sunflower seeds come without the black shell making them ready to eat with no mess whatsoever. They are perfect for the bird feeder because small birds like blue tits , robins and sparrows can enjoy them. They are highly nutritious for small birds and keep the parent birds fed while they find insects for their young. Recommend

Nice clean seed, well packaged in a very strong bag. Delivery was good considering it is from a company in Scotland. Not my first purchase from this company and I'm impressed with the quality of all I've had from them so far, so will buy again from them. By far the best value for money I've found, especially considering we feed a multitude of birds of different species with a never-ending appetite!

Covering the basics - delivery was very prompt. 2 bags well packaged arrived in good order. I decided to give these seeds a try as it was effectively double the quantity for the price I usually pay for Gardman sunflower seeds. I wasn’t expecting them to be as good as my usual purchase but 50% cheaper was enough to tempt me. Sadly they are not close enough to Gardman for me to purchase again. The seeds feel ‘wooden’, they are smaller, lots of broken rather than full seeds. There is also a fairly high contamination of Split yellow peas or the black husk that sits around a sunflower heart in the 2 bags I’ve received. The Gardman seeds by comparison have far fewer contaminates and seem plumper - I’m guessing from a bird point of view the Gardman probably give more energy than these. Certainly I’ve seen a noticeable drop off in birds at the feeder with the Gardman seeds attracting a higher number of species and volume of feeding birds (and squirrels!). I’ve attached a picture comparing these seeds (bottom mound - with black husk dried yellow pea visible) with Gardman (top mound) as that may give you a visual idea of the difference. I’m not saying this is a bad product but you get what you pay for. The wildlife in my garden is not as keen on these as the usual brand I buy and once I’ve gone through this stock I’ll be returning to Gardman. Hope this helps.

Good value for money, when compared with garden centre/shop prices. The bird feeder was busy as soon as the first filling was on offer. Tits, finches and nuthatch and the odd woodpecker in the queue. The seeds feel more oily than other brands, so don't forget to give the feeder a good clean with detergent regularly as the seeds at the bottom of the tube tend to cake and become mouldy.

Je de inne quatre étoile parce que sinon mon commentaire apparaît pas... Ça mérite moins concernant le prix... Un litre de graines n'est pas équivalent a un kg donc un seau de 10 litres se rapproche plus de sept kg que de de 10 ...le prix au kg est donc bien different
