Short of having a butler heap food onto my plate, this is a pretty neat option. Good for holding on to roast meats, not so much for skewering. Pricey.

The fork shown is a four-pronged serving fork. The fork delivered is a two-pronged fork, like the meat fork.

The knife is slightly off, I wonder sometimes where Amazon gets it products. I have an original set and needed one more, I should have ordered from elsewhere. It’s ok, but not the real thing. I generally only go to Amazon in rare situations. You rarely get the real item that they state you are getting. They are knockoffs. It like buying off the streets of NY. Good fakes!

Had dinner in lovely restaurant and use the silverware. Had to have them, love them, bit pricey but are wonderful. Feels great in hand and while eating. Knives will cut steak which is wonderful.

This set of cutlery is modern and contemporary. The sleek shiny silver stainless steel, is smooth and comfortable to handle and use. The forks are narrower and the teaspoon is markedly smaller than the average teaspoon. The soup spoon is ladle like in shape and the handle of the knife curves. The serrated blade is sharp enough to glide through meat. It has a heavy weight and a good feel. Truly a work of modern art, it is perfect for the contemporary aesthetic.

This set of flatware is pretty and distinctive in its line and curve design. It is elegant and surprising. The light plays with each piece in unusual ways. This is up to Mepra's usual excellent standards in terms of heft and quality of stainless steel as well as quality control. It is made in Italy.The larger spoon, called the table spoon, has an unusual shape and depth. It is more oval than the photo to my eye. It is also very shallow. Anyone with a grip or fine motor problem might have a very difficult time with this spoon. For example my mother in law has a fine tremor and is not able to eat with this spoon while she can manage with other Mepra designs just fine.Overall, this is a stylish and fun pattern for anyone looking for something modern and different.

Mepra Arte is a stunning and superior quality set of flatware designed and made in Italy. This set has a brilliant shine rather than a matte or "ice" finish and a modern yet elegant appearance. The 5-piece set is for one person and includes a coffee spoon, table spoon, table knife, salad fork and table fork. I consider this a high end, luxury set that's also practical as it's perfect for everyday use and company too. Plus, this set is easy to care for as it's dishwasher safe and requires no polishing. All pieces feel balanced and comfortable to hold while dining-they're a hefty weight with smooth and rounded handles that have a curvature that makes them easy to hold. Also, the edges on the spoon bowls and fork tines that go in the mouth are smooth and comfortable. This flatware is an investment as most people will need at least 6-12 sets (when I find a pattern I love then I buy extra because pieces get lost and patterns get discontinued), but this is a high quality and durable 18/10 stainless steel set that should last a lifetime.Mepra Arte pieces measure about 9-1/4" for the table knife, 5-3/4" for the coffee spoon, 7-1/4" for the table spoon, 7-1/2" for the salad fork and 8-1/4" for the table fork. Italian place settings may differ from customary place settings used in the USA. In this set, for example, the small coffee spoon is not like an everyday teaspoon and is instead to use with a cup of coffee- though perhaps kids or petite adults might enjoy it for food. The table spoon seems midway between a teaspoon and tablespoon, and for me it's sized perfectly for everything from yogurt or cereal to soup. The forks have elegant long tines similar to my own oversized flatware, though some may find the long tines awkward on the super heavy weight table fork. The knife has a distinctive shape that adds so much flair, and it's a fine knife as it comes to a sharp point at the tip and has fine tooth serrations that easily cut meat (rather than tear it). Mepra Arte is a fabulous set that gets 5 stars from me as this is a set that I'd purchase in a heartbeat.

This is a beautiful, high-quality sleek and modern flatware set. The forks prongs are sturdy and unlikely to bend with normal use. I really like the depth of the table spoon. Unlike cheap flatware this spoon will actually hold a good mouthful of soup or cereal. The knife is also actually sharp enough to cut through meat, which is another problem you run into with cheap flatware that this set eliminates. The only reason I'm giving this four stars instead of five is I believe the product is a bit overpriced. Anything above $50 a setting is too much for this product. $30 or below would be a very good deal.
