The House of Staunton - Fischer Plastic Chess Set - Pieces Only - 4.0" King

I'm very glad that I got those. They are a pleasure to look at and to play with. Heavy and big enough for a full-size board. Although made out of plastic they don't look out of place on the nice maple board I have. In fact, I don't think of them as plastic. The pieces are well sculptured, have a classic look and don't distract from the game. Extra queens. Highly recommended.

The pieces are exactly as displayed in the information, mine arrived with zero damaged pieces, and both extra queens were included. The pieces are also very nice and heavy. Only problem I have is with 2 of my rooks, the weight is loose, and you can hear it in there sometimes, but it bothers me not. The pieces had a decently fast arrival time for the quality, and I would gladly recommend these pieces to anyone. In the photos, the board the pieces are on is a navy blue 20×20 inch board, I'd recommend that size.

The figures are clean and easily identified. Weight was heavier then peices I have used previously and feel great. Should make games with my son alot of fun.

I was looking for a quality chess set that has nice weight and feel as a 14 year anniversary present. Because we have kids, I chose a plastic set instead of a high end wooden set. I was so pleasantly surprised at how nice this set was for the price. My whole family loves it!
