Seems to work for what I needed
The rear window/hatch on my new truck topper sits a little different than the previous one. The rubber weather seal along the bottom lip contacts the tailgate, so over time it will rub and wear away the paint. I ran a strip of this across the tailgate where the rubber seal sits. Install was a little tricky since the cut of this vinyl tape is not clean and has random imperfections, but in the end I got it done. Doesn't look great up close, but hardly noticeable from a few feet away. Time will tell as to durability ... but I have plenty left over in case I need to redo it at some point.

Poor Quality!!
Could not use....Product was poorly cut and had a jagged edge on one side. Would not buy again!!!

I’m happy overall.
After some trial and error I got it installed after a couple try’s. My only complaint is the edges could be a little cleaner and it is a bit thin but I would buy it again. It’s going on the wife’s car next!
