There are reviews that say that cloud drive requires a folder called "cloud drive folder" and that Amazon cloud drive only puts the cloud drive folder on C:\ drive and that the C:\ drive has to be big enough to hold a copy of everything being put into cloud storage.The book did nothing to address it. It does not talk about controlling the synchronized files in the cloud drive folder, nor does it address the size and location of the folder.

This publication appears to have been written early in the cloud era. The screen shots are not expandable and can't be read. By comparison the Kindle Fire HD for Dummies has screen shots that are informative. The index is weak; for example, look for help on the subject of deleting something from the cloud. The book is an easy read, by not much of a reference resource.

I've been an Amazon customer for years, but I still haven't really figured out their "Cloud Drive" and how it exactly works. I know my music files, pictures, book files etc. are out there somewhere, but it's often very confusing to navigate.This book explains everything to those of us who aren't so technologically efficient. Everything you want to know about the Cloud Drive and how to navigate it are right there at your fingertips!Recommended to all newcomers just starting to use the cloud, and all old timers like myself that just need a little more help.

First, be aware that Amazon has discontinued the Amazon Cloud Desktop Software app described in this book. This book was very basic, not much different than what Amazon Cloud provides. Net, it did not help much.

I have only skimmed through this but any help for me is a blessing. Had no idea what a Cloud was and had no idea on how to manage it. Need more time to review the contents. I use it on my Kindle HD.
