Best natural toothpaste I’ve tried
I’m glad I came back to this toothpaste after trying other brands of natural ones. Other brands don’t get that close to just leaving the dentist feeling. This is the closest one thus far. Tried it after opening the package. Noticeably my teeth felt polished and smooth. Used a pea sized amount like usual. Not too foamy, a nice luxurious cream based toothpaste. Does not taste like chocolate which would be okay if it did, a natural mint taste. No artificial after taste either like I can drink water, clear my palate and eat not have to wait. The tube as been updated with an better and easier to open flip cap that is sturdy. Premium quality for the size, this is not a regular drug store brand. You get what you pay for and the value for the benefits are worth it. Yes I would buy this again.

Best toothpaste
This is my favorite toothpaste, and I will always order it. It has a great fresh mint tea flavor and it makes my teeth feel very clean and love that it is fluoride free

Awesome toothpaste. Terrible packaging.
The packaging is terrible. I agree with the others who have mentioned that it's hard to tell how much is left, difficult to get the product out, etc. My cap cracked when I had trouble pulling it off and it came away suddenly, causing me to pinch it together and crack the plastic. So now it will not stay tightly sealed. It's difficult to dispense the product and the tube is plastic (definitely not recyclable where I live). I cannot think of a worse package they could have picked, except maybe if it was packaged in a jar that you had to dip your toothbrush in, then that would be worse. The toothpaste itself is fantastic, if only it were a little mintier, it would be perfect. If you are someone who doesn't like mint, you would probably like this because the mint taste is very mild and goes away shortly after brushing. It doesn't really freshen the breath as much as I would like. But my teeth have never been so squeaky clean. Literally, squeaky clean. I was worried that I would have to continue to use my sensitive toothpaste periodically, but I have not had any sensitivity at all since using this for about three weeks. Since there does not seem to be any ingredient that is designed to cover up sensitivity (like the Orajel added to my whitening toothpaste I used to use), I can only conclude that my teeth are less porous or that the fluoride was the cause of my sensitivity. I purchased this because I really wanted to avoid fluoride and I needed something to rebuild my enamel. I have fine vertical cracks in my enamel, have two chipped teeth and receding gums. All despite having taken excellent care of my teeth my whole life and never having a single cavity (even though we grew up on well water with no fluoride, except what was in our toothpaste). I have used fluoride toothpaste my whole life and have recently read some very alarming things about it. What I read leads me to believe that my receding gums and degradation of my teeth is likely caused by fluoride use. I can't say that I know for sure that this toothpaste has done much to rebuild my enamel in just three weeks of use, but the largest chip in my tooth feels smoother. My teeth also seem much whiter, even though I have been using a whitening toothpaste for a long time. I will be interested to see what my dentist thinks on my next visit, after he measures how much my gums have receded (or not), that will probably be the real test. In the mean time, I plan to continue to use this and will purchase for my son who has fluorosis from being prescribed fluoride drops when he was a baby. Our local clinic had the wrong information that our water was not fluoridated. My advice is to check that out yourself and not rely on your doctor to have up to date info. I am hoping that using this toothpaste will even out the color of his teeth and help reverse the fluorosis.

This is the only toothpaste I am willing to use!
Update: I just ordered a tube of Apagard Premio simply out of curiosity. I'll have it on March 26th. I'll update this review again sometime in the future when I know what I think of it. I discovered Theodent when I learned about the dangers of ingesting fluoride - specifically, synthetic fluoride, which is what's in all fluoride toothpastes and it's what you get at the dentist if you get a fluoride treatment - it's even in your tap water. Synthetic fluoride is toxic. It's basically a poison. I've been using Theodent for 40 days now. I always use it twice each time. What I mean is, I brush with it once and then I rinse thoroughly in order to get rid of everything I just cleaned off my teeth. After that, I brush with it again without rinsing in order to 'apply' it to my teeth (of course, I spit out all the excess). I asked Theodent why they recommend using it this way, and they told me that Theodent is only effective if it can stay on your teeth for at least 30 minutes each time you use it. After 40 days of this, my teeth are no longer sensitive to anything. My enamel has been significantly strengthened! I also love the flavor. It's a mild mint. Perhaps my most favorite thing about this toothpaste though is, it's non-toxic due to not having any fluoride in it. That means it's relatively safe to swallow. If your toothpaste has fluoride in it, then it's toxic; it's not safe to swallow ANY of it. I'm not even sure it's safe for fluoride toothpaste to be sitting in your mouth because I can only imagine it's being absorbed by the flesh in your mouth. Anyway, yeah, Theodent is seriously the only toothpaste that exists for me. I know it's expensive, but it's seriously worth it. I hope one day synthetic fluoride will be completely banned on this entire planet and replaced with the stuff that Theodent calls "Rennou" (pronounced "renew"). That way, we won't have to pay a premium for toothpaste. Of course, the only issue that would remain is making sure to buy toothpaste that has an effective amount of Rennou in it. The amount of Rennou in Theodent Classic and its effectiveness is equivalent to the amount of fluoride in special toothpastes like Fluoridex. One use of Theodent (brush, rinse, brush, spit out excess) is the same as a fluoride treatment at the dentist. This stuff is absolutely fantastic.

You've all seen the reveiw of soduim lauroyl sarcosonite being bad. Well don't listen to it. The BAD chemical is SLS soduim lauroyl SULFATE which is NOT in THIS toothpaste, so this toothpaste is SAFE it will not kill you over time like the other review said... soduim Lauroyl sarcoaonite which is in theodent toothpaste is considered a green chemical. Which means it's safe, biodegradable, vegan and doesn't harm aquatic life or your life. This is perfect for people that have allergic reactions to regular toothpaste that has (SLS SULFATE & flouride). Soduim lauroyl sarcosonite is actually rated 1-2 in the green zone in toothpastes etc which means safe. It is rated a five in the orange zone as becoming unsafe when INHALED in antiperspirants etc, now this goes for anything nothing but air and asthma sprays should be inhaled for humans so of course anything being inhaled will cause cancer over time. I'm saying this for people to understand sarcosonite is very safe in toothpaste. There are some studies regarding skin absorption of sarcosonite but it doesn't lead to anything harmful. Let's be real here You will get cancer and mouth issues from SLS soduim lauroyl SULFATE in regular toothpaste. Oh I also forgot to mention our bodies MAKE soduim lauroyl SARCOSONITE (in theodent) it's a natural amino acid found in the body! It's also found in animals and plants, the Sarcosonite in this tooth paste comes directly from coconuts. Coconut is tree of life. so now i will say this toothpaste is great, leaves a nice polish on the teeth. I also am very happy to be able to leave some toothpaste on my teeth without a fear of allergic reaction unlike regular toothpaste. I like that it's spearmint and not spicy peppermint. Nobody like the spicy. I have a cavity yes I know but I used this toothpaste where the cavity was and odd it actually took swelling down on the gums around the cavity so it doesn't hurt at all. So this toothpaste is pretty great no wonder its 30 bucks it really keeps the gums in good condition. I found out theodent also reminlizes on contact it only takes 3-7 days to rebuild enamel. Ok buy it. Do it. Buy it. You made it this far into my reveiw. Buy it; You won't regret it.
