Bought this to replace my Hunter Green le creuset which had been given to me as a wedding present more than thirty years ago. I had a cooking disaster which sadly damaged the enamel.I really like the dark grey finish on this casserole dish which looks very smart and makes a change from the ubiquitous orange or the pastel colours.It was certainly a bonus that it was cheaper on the Amazon le creuset shop. In the shop near me it was the same price as the others.

It's not my first Le Creuset and probably won't be the last. I seriously like this dish, extremely durable, keeps the food warm (since it's a durable cast iron that retains the heat), cleaning is easy and I use it almost for everything.

Have wanted to have Le Creuset for longer than can say but was rather heavy to the pocket. Now the proud owner of this casserole dish and it’s everything I hoped for. Durable, versatile and cleaning is easy peasy. They are quite weighty, but that’s what quality feels like and worth every penny. This was a great deal too, so win win. Glad I finally took the plunge.

I have been meaning to buy this item for a long time. I have tried others before and decided to by my own. It is all they say it is, durable, easy to maintain, versatile and even good looking.

A gift

Over the past couple of months, some small pit marks have appeared on the inside base of my casserole but can not complain as the 3 saucepans purchased at the same time are all OK. Purchased in Jenner's Edinburgh store 1989 total cost £100. Must be my best purchase ever.
