Hogue OverMolded Rubber Monogrip for Colt Python with Finger Grooves, Black - 46000

Great product, fits my new python very well. The wooden grips that come with the new python are really pretty, however they are not the best for target shooting. These grips give you a better purchase of the firearm and increase your accuracy because it holds firmly in your grip, the finger molds, ensure that it is not moving around in your hand. This is an important thing when you were shooting full 357 magnum loads.If you bought a new 2020 model python, I would highly recommend you purchased these scripts

I have used Hogue grips for years, they usually work great

Colt Trooper mk III has different grips from the Python. They will not fit. There are earlier versions of Python and different versions of Trooper (mk I, mk II)These Hogue grips are fantastic and arrived with alacrity. I didn't know the difference between the guns before ordering them.I will seek a return.

I really wanted to like this grip. The fit on my 2023 Colt Python 6 inch was absolutely perfect. Absolutely no gaps at all! Best fitting grips I’ve put on my Python so far. Installation was a bit tricky because of the very tight fit, but doable. Followed the instructions and got them on in a few minutes.Unfortunately, the grip proved to be too thin for my hands. The finger grooves were okay and the texture was nice and grippy, but I couldn’t get past the feel in hand.I also couldn’t get past the tragically ugly look. Almost a crime to put such an ugly grip on such a beautiful revolver.I settled on the Hogue wood monogrip instead. They’re fatter overall and fit my hand better. Wish the rubber monogrip was the same size as the wood version. Also wish the rubber monogrip had checkered texture like the wood version instead of the amphibian like texture.Mostly an excellent grip if it fits your hands and you can get past the tragically ugly look.Not for me so the grip went back for a refund.

This rubber grip fits very well. This would not be the grips for show, but for function they feel great. It's much easier to control the recoil of a Python over cool looking wood grips.

If you have small hands and own a 2020 Colt Python, these grips are almost a necessity. My son and I tried shooting my 4” Python with the stock grips on it. We both have small hands. We had to keep rearranging our grip after almost every shot. I decided to order these grips because I have them on several of my other firearms and have always found them to be a welcome improvement over stock. I was beyond pleased with these on the 2020 Python. They reduced the grip to something that was manageable for someone with small hands. If you find yourself in the same situation, order these, you’ll be amazed. Also, get a set of WC sights, front and rear. Then you’ll have a real shooter. BTW: Make sure you’re ordering the Hogue 46000. Those are what I ordered and Amazon initially sent me Hogue 19000. On the 19000 box, there’s a sticker that says that they also fit the Python. The Hogue 19000 are for a S&W K/L frame round butt. I imagine, if they fit a Python, it’ll be a pre-2020.

This Hogue grip was designed for Colt’s new model Anaconda. The new Python’s grip frame is made like the Anaconda’s frame. Therefore, the Python’s fit is as good as a new Anaconda’s.Installation of this grip on my Python is similar to other Hogue grips I’ve put on other revolvers. They are a bit fiddly. The directions are good enough for installation.
