It works and is better than just water + microfiber
A lot of people on forums are skeptical about this stuff (imagine that, people on forums being skeptical), citing that Apple says all you need it microfiber + water. That may actually be true if you don't let your screen get as bad as I did, but for me water + microfiber was just pushing the grease around. I could get it *decent* looking, but never fully "windex"/"flashlight test" clean.I suppose you could just use Windex and maybe I am a bit of a sucker for believing that the ammonia or alcohol is 'too harsh' or whatever Apple says, but they don't even carry this stuff in their stores anymore so I don't figure they are just trying to push the products. This stuff really is a different kinda clean than Windex and really does feel like a "polish". The coating it leaves is apparent (in a good way).A lot of people have said that this stuff leaves streaks. I can tell that would be true - if you don't follow the instructions. If you follow the instructions, it works perfectly. People particularly talk about how this leaves streaks on TVs and them examining the TV with a flashlight afterwards. The instructions specifically state to clean a TV in small sections as this stuff dries pretty fast. While I have not cleaned my TV just yet, I can say that I have investigated my MacBook Pro's glossy screen after using this with all the lights off and an LED flash light, and this leaves it spotless. If there's anything left, just rub it with the microfiber.Anyway, it works better than just water per my direct experience. Worth the cost for what you get. Also, something that wasn't clear about the wipes that they advise in the instructions: they are not strictly 'single use'. If you keep them in a plastic bag afterward, you can reuse them. Haven't tried that out either, admittedly, but it makes sense since this stuff is technically a gel and not alcohol. LONG REVIEW SORRY

Krystal-Klear perfection
The iKlear Complete Cleaning Kit is the perfect complement to my new 13" MacBook Pro. As a first-time Mac user, I went all out in purchasing a nice case and sleeve for it, but the while those may protect the exterior of my newest investment, they don't do squat for smears, smudges and stains on the glossy screen. That's where the iKlear products come in.The iKlear Complete Cleaning Kit includes two bottles of the amazing cleaning solution. I use the 6 oz. bottle at home and keep the 2 oz. bottle in my car. You also get a travel-size and large micro-chamois cloth. This thing is huge, and could easily be used to clean a large HDTV. You also get an anti-microbial cloth if you're one of those Purel-loving, paper towel-on-the-doorknob kind of folk. The micro-fiber terry cloth is also included, and this works really well to "polish" your screen after you've cleaned it with the spray. For even more portability, the kit includes 12 travel wipes which may be used for "Step One" of the iKlear cleaning process:Step One: Spray iKlear solution on a corner of a micro-fiber/micro-chamois cloth. You may also use a travel wipe. Wipe in straight motions starting from the top corner of the screen.Step Two: Use a dry corner of a micro-fiber/micro-chamois cloth (I prefer the included terry cloth) to polish the screen. It's best to wipe in straight motions doing one small area at a time. The cleaning solution works very well. My screen looks just as shiny as when I first unboxed my MBP. The solution can also be used on your laptop's keyboard, palmrest and trackpad area (although the manual doesn't recommend using it). Because the solution is alcohol, ammonia, and sodium-something free, it doesn't leave streaks. The cloths are also washable and reusable! The price I paid was $24.95, which at the time is $5 cheaper than what the Apple Store charges. I can't wait to use it on my first-gen iPod touch and see the restorative magic that is iKlear. Buy it now!

Not just for electronics!
I've been using this brand for 5 years and will never go with anything else. I initially bought the kit to tackle a tough job. As a former smoker, my electronics were pretty disgusting and VERY tough to clean. Cigarette smoke residue is notoriously difficult to remove, but iKlear easily made quick work of cleaning up my MacBook. I now use it for every electronic device in the house. One surprising use? Eyeglasses. One day I ran out of my usual eyeglass cleaner and thought this stuff may work in a pinch. It was excellent, with no haze like most eyeglass cleaners leave. This stuff is now my go-to for my glasses and sunglasses too. Before you try it on glasses though, check to make sure there's no special lens coating; I have no idea if it's safe or not since this stuff is not indicated for that. I've also cleaned a glass door, car windows, and a vanity mirror, just to see what happened. Everything turned out fine and looked great. No streaks, but if there are any, I've learned over time that you have to kind of buff things out with a dry cloth after cleaning to get rid of any little ones. If there's haze, that means you need to reapply one more spray, then buff again. Overall, this stuff is alien tech and worth the extra $$.
