These are functional and effective for illuminating dark areas. They are the perfect size for small areas and are easy to use.

I bought this pack of clamp lights to shine grow lights at my plants that don't get much sunlight. They do the job well and the clamp is sturdy, even holding up a heavy grow light bulb. I also appreciate how it's just a simple on or off so I can use it with a timer to ensure my plants get the right amount of light per day.

I purchased these three times and they are inexpensive but durable to what I use them for. I put "gro lights" in them and I have them blasting light on my plants during the winter. The lamps themselves are made well enough. I can get the lamps right up to the plants because gro lights do not emit measurable heat, and I have them on smart switches so I can turn them on and off remotely. They are small enough fit neatly on the shelves and don't get in the way of maintaining the plants. Assembly was a bit tricky because none of my packages had assembly instructions. Figuring out how to attach the bracket to the lamp and to the clamp wasn't physically difficult, but it wasn't straightforward. Not a bad thing, but maybe put out a YouTube video for people who are just puzzled.

These are nice, but they require more hand strength than most older women would have. It takes everything I’ve got to get the clamps to open very much, so I can only attach them to thin items. The reflectors took a little work to get the threads to line up properly, but they worked well once they finally lined up. I’ve used older clamp lights without difficulty in the past, so I know that the difficulty I had with these wasn’t my fault or my imagination. If you have pain or weakness in your hands, you might be better off trying them in person at a local store. A strong man probably wouldn’t have any problems with these, but women and seniors might. The brightness reflected was impressive and they stay put because of the sturdy clamp. The switch feels nice a tight like it should. These are handy to have because you can use them to light up large areas. If you have a battery that accepts standard plugs, you could light up an entire room with one of these and an LED light bulb during a power outage. Maybe more than just one room if you angled it correctly. This set came nicely packaged in a sturdy box, so this would make a nice gift for a handyman. I would have ordered another set if the clamps hadn’t been too strong for my small, senior hands.

Have used with two broods of chicks, left on continuously for days at a time. It gets EXTREMELY hot, so make sure to raise it when your chicks start jumping and flying. Also make sure it's very securely attached to something sturdy - it is definitely a fire hazard if it touches curtains/bedding/anything flammable. This is just the nature of heat lamps and not a knock on this product. I have several vivosun products and they've all done well for me.

I bought these along with some hundred LED lightbulbs to add some additional light over a workbench in my basement. They worked good 30 years ago and the design hasn’t changed and still worked just as good. They are not prettier fancy but I believe the price reflects that.

These were well packaged, arriving with zero damage, no dents. Esthetics are important to me. I appreciate this because it's a common occurrence otherwise. Every component is perfect. The reflectors screw onto the fixtures smoothly and snugly, the threads are perfect. I highly recommend this company. Delivery was early.

Delicate threads on the reflector. I expected a plastic part to screw on and hold the reflector in place. You need to be very careful not to strip the threads. Not good for heavy use, but perfect for delicate decorative lighting.

Haven't had a chance to use them for an extended amount of time yet. They were packaged well, the light worked, and the reflective shroud seems to help direct the light where it's needed. The clamps are strong enough to stay in place, but not so strong that you need a body builder to spread them apart. Will update when I've used them more. I expect this to become a 5 star at a later date.
