I received this product as a sample for my unbiased opinion. Having said that I really like this battery case. Here are a few pros and cons. Some cons might be pros for you or the other way around.PROS:- the case is one of the thinnest battery cases I have used (and I have used quite a few). Sure it makes the iPhone fatter and a tiny bit longer and heavier but it is not nearly as bulky as all the other ones. Big plus!- the case fits very tightly around the iPhone and won't come apart easily. The iPhone slides into the back end and then a bumper style fits over the top of the iPhone and clicks into place. This is a case that is not that easy to take off once it is on. So best if you plan on using the case all the time. (Or you can see this as a CON: case hard to remove, your choice).- case is charged with a normal micro USB cable (one is included but you can use any good quality cable). So no need for expensive Apple certified cables to charge. (Or you can see this as a CON with having to use yet another cable, up to you).- the case will only turn on or off after holding down the button for a few seconds. Great! Previous cases would turn the case on and of with just a simple push of the button. That meant that if you kept the phone in your pocket it would keep going on and off all the time. Very annoying and it usually meant that either the case was empty when you needed it (because it turned on by mistake) or wouldn't have charged the phone because it got turned off by mistake. The button is flat and doesn't stick out.CONS:- when charging the case the lights blink. They stop blinking and become solid (but stay on) once the case is fully charged. Quite annoying in a dark bedroom.General remarks:- The case is neither too slippery nor too rubbery. It will slide into your pocket easily but not out of your hand while holding it. Good job.- capacity wise: It is best to charge your iPhone when the battery is between 20-80%. Below 20% and above 80% it requires a lot of extra power which is not a good use of the case. So when you get the 20% battery warning on your phone: turn on the case and set an alarm for 60 minutes on your phone. Then when the alarm goes off, shut down the case and your battery will be at about 75% level. Doing it that way I was able to use a fully charged case to charge my iPhone twice from 20-75% and a third time from 20-40% before the case was empty. So this way I got (75-20)*2+(40-20)=130% charge into my iPhone.This case comes with a screen protector which I didn't try, a charging cable and a headphone extender because most headphones jacks won't fit the small hole left in the case so you can plug the headphones into the iPhone. I really dislike using an extender. I keep misplacing it. On the next model please make the hole just a little bigger so most plugs will fit! That and the blinking lights keep this from getting 5 stars.

This was the thinnest battery case I could find. Protection was ok and more than doubled the battery life of the phone. Intermittently would get a notice that the device is not compatible with phone. I had to take the phone out and reinstall it and it would work. Having to use the headphone jack extension is kind of a pain. I don't use the case everyday because I don't love it, but I use it when I travel and it meets my needs.

So I'm conflicted about not giving it the full 5 stars. I would say that this rating is actually a 4.8 stars. So I bought this case not for the protection of my phone, but solely for having a backup charge for my phone because after 13-14 hour school and work days without necessarily an available charger nearby (or I might have one nearby but didn't want to have to worry about it).In terms of ability to charge this case gets 10 stars out of 5. This is because it charges even BETTER than I expected. So I charge my phone over night every night, using the charger that came with the case instead of my Iphone charger, and it charges both my phone and the case simultaneously (to my understanding). Also, side note, the charger it comes with is also awesome because I've had bad experiences with micro USB chargers in the past that came with products so I guess it was just because they were kinda cheap but this one is perfect. Anyway, I charge it over night and can get TWO FULL CHARGES in (maybe more honestly but I've never had to do it more than twice) so this means my phone might be completely dead and I had to charge it from nothing or it was around 5-8% and I decided to charge it and it takes it back up to 100%. I mean it does exactly what I needed it to do. If I'm out pokehunting (don't judge) my battery gets drained reallyyyy quickly and I don't have to worry about it with this case.That being said you're probably like well why didn't you give it 5 stars then if it's so great? Well, like I said before I feel like it's not fair to rate it for its protection value when it's not made to be a protective case and that's not why I bought it, but I do think it's a factor that should be considered. I'm not an extremely clumsy person, but my phone can definitely take a small tumble from my desk or from my bed every once in a while and I would hope that a case, even one not made for protection, could withstand that. These tumbles have happened while I've had this case and I don't have a cracked screen or anything, but the case is built in two separate parts, and they do come apart every time it has fallen to the floor regardless of how short a fall it is. So my only warning would be if you are on the clumsier side I would be wary and maybe not have this be your everyday case, maybe just keep it in your bag and switch it out when you need it because I can't vouch for how the case would hold up in a more severe fall.All in all though - better than I could have hoped for!FYI - I have been using the case for about a month now. Great case, the second I've bought. It DOES do pass thru charging no matter what others have said! So if yours doesn't, you're doing it wrong, read this to fix it! Yes, the cable that's included is way too short! So many HAVE to use a USB extension. But not all will work. A low quality one will cause pass thru charging to not work. It will still charge the case, but not the phone at the same time with a poor quality USB extension cable. Zvoltz support was a great help and identified the problem when my old Zvoltz case did pass thru charging fine, but my second identical one did not! Because I used a different USB extension cable than before and that was the problem! So if your case doesn't do pass thru charging, and you're using a different std USB to Micro cable and not the one that comes with it, or using an extension with the included charging cable, it's the cable or USB extension cable making pass thru charging not work! I found the Amazon Basics USB extension cable works great, and pass thru charging works just fine with that specific USB extension cable. So if you need a longer cable, I'd recommend using an Amazon Basics USB extension cable!

Does not work! Difficult to charge and on/off switch is small and appears fragile, however the case was not heavy as compared to most.Also could not charge with iPhone plug.

the battery charging part will not work so it is just a case after having it a short time.

I"m on my third. They hold a good charge and work well until they don't. THey will just randomly die and that is it. Cheap, but maybe that's what you get...?

Did a good job charging my phone. Upgraded my phone and would need to get a new case. Thinking about reordering!

I thought this item was a Morphie!I would not recommend because the side falls off if dropped. The Morphie is a much better item!
