Men's Freestyle Running Shorts, Athletic Workout Apparel with 7" Inseam, Zipper Pocket for Gym, Race & Trail

I bought these shorts specifically for Spartan Races and Tough Mudder events, looking for something that was not only comfortable and lightweight but also durable enough to withstand the intense conditions of these races. To be honest, I was a little skeptical at first, but these shorts have completely exceeded my expectations. They’re so good that I’ve ended up buying several more of their products for my races! The fit is spot on—true to size—and the comfort level is amazing. Whether I’m running through muddy obstacles, crawling under barbed wire, or climbing walls, these shorts move with me without restriction. They also dry incredibly fast after getting soaked with water or mud, which is a huge plus when you’re out in the elements for hours. Beyond the races, I’ve also worn these shorts during leg days at the gym, and they’ve been perfect for those tough workouts as well. The flexibility and breathability are just what I need to stay comfortable and focused. I honestly can’t recommend these enough—whether you’re hitting the trails, tackling a race, or just working out, these shorts are a solid choice. Highly recommend!

I settled on these shorts because I was looking for something with a zipper pocket that would hold my iPhone 8. (Not the huge one, the normal sized one) and they do that nicely. And they do so much more. These are extremely comfortable shorts. They fit very well and they look good to boot. I don’t usually carry things in the front pockets because I don’t like stuff bouncing around when I run, but the pockets on these stay close enough to my legs that things don’t bounce around. I’ve only been wearing them for a couple of months so I can’t say that they’re hugely durable, but they’ve held up nicely so far. (And I haven’t used them in any OCR—just trail and road running, so they haven’t been taxed excessively.). They seem like they’re going to last a long time. There are a couple of odd design features—the drawstring is almost long enough that I could tie it to my ears. And for some reason the pocket on my black shorts is roughly 50% larger than the one on the grey shorts. These are great shorts and when I need some more shorts I’ll get some more of these. I won’t think twice.

Used them for a spartan race 10k, light weight and durable. Inner lining was comfortable.

Fit was as expected, wore them for 1 OCR race, they were light and durable, have to see how they hold up for the long run, but so far they are a really good pair of shorts. Not a big fan of the inner short and I didn't feel like cutting it out would be a great decision, just wore performance gear under and there were no issues.

The mix of fabric gives it a 'swimsuit-like' feel. Labeled 'Made in Thailand,' good small zipper pocket back-center. Runs small. Was right on the line (within an inch) of two sizes and glad I got the larger. It's a good 'warm-weather' running short as water will pretty much slide off of it, so it's good for OCR-competitions. The more experienced runners planning for long, multi-hour practice runs might want something with a softer, more flexible fabric to stay comfortable.

I believe they are good shorts but there is very little room for your back side.

I really like these shorts so far. I haven't raced in them yet, but I have worked out and ran in them and they're great. Very comfortable and moved well, (or I should say, allowed for easy movement) during Olympic lifts and hill runs. I'm very pleased, and would buy them again. I'm looking forward to running a Spartan Race in them next month. Update... I just ran my first Spartan race in these shorts. They were great! Light, comfortable, dried very quickly, and I love the zipper pocket in the back. They also held up very well. No rips, tears, or even stains. I would highly recommend these shorts, and will definitely buy them again.

I loved these shorts, I purchased them Tough Mudder 2021 as I needed something light weight that would survive a mud run. These shorts performed and were comfortable along those 10 miles. From crawling through water, mud, or dirt these shorts remained comfortable and light. Once I got them cleaned up they look brand new, fresh out the bag! Props for durability. My boy blah moment was I get they fit smaller than I anticipated so that was a minor bummer.
